Hey ive been dual boxing with a warrior + ice mage
to level 10
to see how the combonation would be.
Tank + DPS is great fun.
But will it stay this easy till 60?
Help me out here.
and tell me what to roll
instead of warrior.
because i want to dual box with a mage for sure! ?(

hey
If i were you, I would have replaced that warrior whit a paladin.
I personally suggest to swap the mage for a hybrid class that can function as caster DPS or healer. So I would go for a druid, a priest or a shaman.

I disagree. If you want to use the paladin for DPS(instead of healer, since you sometimes just might prefer 2 dps), you'd have 2 melee characters to multibox, which adds the difficulty of positioning both correctly at all times.
[edit] Oops, sorry, I misread.

In my pre-boxing days my mains were a 70 prot warrior and frost mage. While I have a few teams at 60 I leveled these two to 80 first.
Leveling them together was great. Only a couple of times did I wish I had a healer.

The thing is that it doesn't have to be a healer. A DPS with even just 1 heal ability would already be sufficient to save you from countless situations.
e.g. When I run some elemental shamans in a raid, they become very handy as backup healing when the 2 (real) healers are in trouble. It's very mana-intensive, but it more than once saved the day.

why would there be 2 melee? if you have a warrior+frost mage and replace the warrior with a pally you come out with pally+frost mage. thats 2 dps with a heal.

Oops, I misread. I thought he meant to use a paladin with a warrior.
