I'm about to move, so I was holding off on getting my 2 rigs running together, but I decided I couldn't wait, and went ahead and got another copy of Keyclone and downloaded Synergy on both boxes. Keyclone was pretty simple after I copied my hotstrings over and figured out how to make everything auto-connect. Well, I got Synergy on both rigs, and I got the typical Windows 'error' ding, every few seconds. Didn't see an error popup, so I eventually removed the "ding" sound from the sounds settings. It moved to my computer speaker, and eventually I had to unplug the computer speaker to get rid of it. Anyone know what this is? I'm not getting any error messages, just this annoying 'ding' sound every few seconds.

Why would you have went through all of that when you could have done it all with Octopus for free?

Is it from Synergy or Keyclone? I don't recall getting any sound messages from Synergy. You get the ding from Keyclone when something gets disconnected. So, if you have a bad IP address in Keyclone you will get the ding non-stop. At least, that happened to me before.

Why would you have went through all of that when you could have done it all with Octopus for free?I already had KeyClone on one rig, and all I had to do was copy the hotstrings over to my new rig. I read about synergy (which is also free), and downloaded it, and it took all of 2 minutes to read how to set it up and it worked. It's just the 'ding' sound every few seconds that's annoying me.

Why would you have went through all of that when you could have done it all with Octopus for free?If you have a problem with keyclone, take it up with rob, stop spouting this crap in people's threads that are trying to get answers to legitimate problems.
