The Oculus - how do I get rid of the possession bar without an addon?

So I was trying to run the oculus today, set up my macros according to Alemi's guide... the problem is, when I call my drakes, it gives me the possession bar and does not let me change any of the buttons or switch my action bar page. How do I get around this? I basically got owned because I couldn't use any of my abilities properly as I wasn't expecting the issue... I tried binding a key to swap action page but that didn't actually change any of my "vehicle" buttons.

Any advice on this? Obviously impossible to do Oculus at all until I get this figured out.

Update: Ctmod allows you to hide the possession bar and "show" the main bar again, but I still can't use any of my normal abilities - the main bar just shows the 3 normal drake abilities and doesn't allow me to switch pages or do anything to move my macros in place...

What bar mod are you using ?

i finally caved and setup macaroon on my alts for this tonight . . works perfectly :)

CTMod is the only bar mod I'm using. I'm also using Xperl. Not going to set up a new mod because I won't be multiboxing anymore in a week or two - would like to get Oculus done first but if it requires a new addon I'm just not interested :)

Yeah, unfortunately that requires macaroon - not really willing to spend hours getting that all set up properly when my slave accounts expire in a week anyway. Guess I'll just PuG Oculus :)
