I eventually ditched the multi-PC idea as I simply couldn't get it to work. Something screwy was on my old machine, so $2.2k later on Newegg...

Gotta upgrade the accounts today or I lose the toons, but keeping them in vanilla WoW for now until I really get my script down. Working on disabling all hotkeys when Enter, R or / is pressed for chatting or slash commands, and re-enabled when Enter is pressed again.

It is HUGE. I bought it with the idea I was going to overclock this rig at some point, but in order to do that with no chance of instability I'm going to have to watercool, and I've never done that before. Water + electronics is just way too worrying for me.
I run anywhere from 28 to 32 idling, and the highest I've seen it go after a long session of COD5 is 47, so it's doing its job well. I might try reapplying the AS5 today as I think I can get it a little lower.

Great looking set-up; it's very clean. I'd love to know the spec list as well and what kind of FPS you're getting on your main screen ;)

Naxx 10 riad - averaged 100fps foe entire raid. I now put vsynch on for the 5 box and get a syeady 60fps with max detail on the main and 30fps on the slaves (when they don't have focus they all drop to 30fps because Windows is quirky). Slaves are running a separate minimal client at 800 x 600 (512 x 400 resize) with everything on low.

Nice system m8!
The computer working ok? How is it in WG / AV and stuff like that? U think it would handle a raid to a capital city for example?
Almost identical to what im gonna get tbh check out the thread i have on hardware part of the forums.

Can HKN remove the window around the wow windows? I use keyclone and it does. I just know that those bars would annoy the crap out of me!
I am moving to a new apartment next week, so I will have time to set up my system a bit cleaner, so maybe I'll post some of my own pics :)

EloxyIt's working fine m8 :) With Vsync on I don't drop below 40-50 fps on the main window with everything (and I mean everything) on high detail @ 1680 x 1050. Slaves are 30fps rock solid (and only at 30fps because Vista limits them to that when the window isn't in focus). I expect I could get a lot more out of it if I tweaked the affinity for the processes, but with 8 cores (well four cores and four HT threads) there's room to experiment :) As for capitals, it handles SW just fine. I've not been to Outland or Northrend with a 5 box yet, but in Dalaran on my main I'm solid at 50+fps on max detail.

Nice rig m8!
What we need is a thread where everyone posts pics of their setups/rigs & for it to be stickied! I need it to get inspired when I re-do my entire setup sometime in the near future.

Thanks :)
It's not just a home PC. It also does a lot of other things now my old machine is being turned into a HTPC.
