Patch 3.1 - Bear tanking gains 360 degree AOE threat on swipe

I was just reading a blog that mentioned that swipe has been changed on the PTR to no longer require a specific target, and to
affect all targets in an 8 yard range 360 degrees around the bear. (sorry if this is old news).

I was always going to use my bear to tank (and planned on using my ret pallys consecrate to gather mobs up), but this makes my bear tank
even more viable.

Of couse close in CC will break, you'll no longer be able to just turn your back on the cc'ed target, but overall I'll be happy if this goes live.

It is true, works great. I haven't tested it on the new build but the previous build I was testing on it only had a 5 yard range, which was a known bug, it should be 8 yard range. With the buff to mitigation, 360 swipe the HP nerf doesn't hurt as much as I expected it to. I no longer have to heigan dance to tank trash mobs.

Can you dance if you want to?rofl. I hardly stand still when I'm tanking trash, I'm always running / jumping around gathering stuff up and running it over and dumping it onto our prot paladin. I assume even after this change I'll still be running and jumping around. If we ever filmed our boss kills I'd be the idiot standing still jumping up and down for absolutely no reason over and over and over.

I like this, since I use my druid as tank for all, and I dont use CC, just heal sometimes, I am looking forward to it.
