Hello,
I'm going for a week to San Francisco, US and I play on EU servers. I'd love to do some boxing from there.
My question is, is there a big lag or lag at all? If there is, is it tolerable?
Thank you,
Deekhay

Should be totally tolerable. I played on US servers from EU for a while, not a problem.

This is ofcourse mostly dependant on the very internet connection you will have access too, once in the US.
But it is very possible to play WoW on EU servers from anywhere on the planet. There will be more 'lag' ofcourse the further you are away from the server. But even if you are on the other side of the planet, it's still about microseconds really. If you experience 150ms with a connection in the EU. You'd probably get 200ms with the exact same connection in the US.
I'm grappling figures out of thin air. But my point is, unless you got some really crappy internet connection in the US. There's nothing to worry about. :p

My fps when I played Twisting Nether was around 1k. That seems really high but it was when I lived in Alaska and my MS was 800 on US servers. I just logged one of my TN toons just now and I got 240 ms, which isn't bad.

As long as the lag is steady consistent yeh can play with any amount of lag
been playing the last 4 years on US servers from Australia..
you'll probably get the same amount of lag, i.e ~350-400ms average. It's totaly playable, but you obviously lose a bit of an edge in pvp :/

I play on a server that's physically in Los Angeles and regularly play with people who are temporarily in Vietnam, India and New Zeland. All can play, but say they get anywhere from 500-800ms latency...
Playable, yes. Enjoyable, not for me.
