Alright so, I started multiboxing about a month ago, my cousin only plays 2 days a week so I have his account (RAF'd with mine) for the other 5 days.
So far I have very messily leveled one pair to 60, a paladin and a priest, they have 3 days /played on them, because I had to keep stopping, questing, instancing, etc.
I am currently trying to level a 17 priest and hunter by instancing, but it's slow, and I hate WC.
I really want to get at least 3 more characters (including the hunter/priest combo) to 60 (I have 2 30s, I can grant one to 60 with the next pair) before the time is up. It's really slow though, so I was looking for help on how to do it more efficiently.
I have 4 accounts, My account (Veteran), my cousins account (Recruit), Spare account 1 (Has a 70 mage on it), Spare account 2 (Has a 77 hunter on it).
Now my first question, which account should I use to run instances? My 70 Mage (Decked in Sunwell and merciless gear, frost spec) or my 77 hunter (merciless gear and blues, BM specced).
The mage was a bit squishy, in cath he couldn't pull half the instance without getting his face kicked, and the hunter is a bit slow.
Does anyone have any good builds for instancing for either class?
My computer has only 1gb ram, but it can keep up 3 windows as long as only 1 is active at a time, so what program should I use (If any). I don't really want to pay for keyclone but I will if it will be a major upgrade. I usually use hotkeynet for questing, and no programs or addons when instancing.
I really want to get some more characters leveled, but it's just so slow, I really want it quicker...
Thanks, Mistay. :cursing:

PS: I have read a load of guides, I just can't grasp some of the things they are saying, or can't apply them to my situation, sorry if I seem like a noob...

Horde and Alliance Multi Boxing RAF 1-60 Leveling Guide ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=14471')

It's the multiboxing RAF. Posted some time ago. I used it for 5 boxing to 60. And plan on doing minimum 2 more groups before RAF expires. I suggest just using this

Account sharing is against the ToS / EULA and is BANNABLE. Before you start anything i suggest you fix this problem or enjoy not playing wow from thos accounts ever again. As for leveling just be patient with it since you don't have a "tank" type character that can pull the entire instance.

Mm, Thanks, I looked at that before but I thought it was prolly dated. I will try it out soon. :)

And @ Zal I realise it's against the TOS, but I don't think I will get caught, we don't log in on the same days, so it's pretty safe. For all blizzard knows, I could be flying to my cousins loc. for 2 days a week.

Well,

Someone reports you for boting or simmilar.
Blizzard realize you are boxing, but one account is not in the same name.

Oups all accounts Banned.

I agree with Zal, to be safe you should fix this. It would suck to have all accounts suspended when you put so much time in to it.

Multiboxing is easily noticeable by GMs, and you'll get the banstick when they see two different names on the accounts.
All it takes is 1 ticket...

So yea, get a new account under your name to save you some grief :D

EDIT: crap, I post too slow :P

But to the question about what program to use.

I think hotkeynet will go along way. Probably all the way what i have read. It may be a little harder to setup then for example Keyclone or IS. (I have not looket at it for some time now so it might have changed to be more user friendly) "NOOB friendly in my case"
But if you want to stick with HKN there is alot of ppl here that can probably help you out to set it up right.

Mm, ATM I'm just using the example scripts, they work pretty well, but I'm gonna look into changing it soon.

By the way, with the sharing accounts thing, will that ban both accounts, or just the recruit? Because if it's just the recruit, I can risk it, I'm a selfish person :P

I think they will ban all of them.

I know someone here on the forum had some trubble about this some time ago. All he could do was /wave Bye Bye at his accounts as they got suspended.
Dont seem to be able to find the thread for you now though.

Damn, Alright. The only problem is I'm not the Original Owner of my main... >.<"" I was given it... and I don't know the last name or the email... So making one with the same name will be problematic, but I'll work on it.

I know several people already said this but I just want to stress to you how important it is to not share the accounts. Multiboxers frequently get reported because people dont understand that we arent cheating. When we do get checked by a GM they will check the account ownership and it will be easy for them to see that you are account sharing.

I think I'm just gonna screw it and make 2 new accounts for RAF, and keep my main for normal stuff, much safer...

in case you are thinking or planning on transferring any of the toons from the account you were given to the new accounts you may create to save any of the, you can forget it. unless the new accounts are in the same name and have the same contact information, this will not be possible. i was in your shoes when i first started to do this, then i found out about the whole account deal. i quickly stopped and created new accounts from scratch and gave the account i was given to my cousin to run instead. she only runs 1 account, so she's safe with that. i didn't want to risk it with mine.

Definetly stick to the rules.... it would be a big waste of time to see ones accounts go bye bye!

I created my 4 new accounts when I started, even though I was offered a friends account with a few really nice chars on it.

Also, its nice to know that you are 100% legit and you never have anyting to fear :)
