what would be best to gear them with and also what totems should i us for lvling all the way to 80 with and what ones should i use in PvE such as raids and instance and which ones should i use in PvP

WG is the new "welfare epics" these days. Else, painfully grind the BGs for honor till you can get some gear.

Dropping totems while leveling will be a waste of time, as you will 1 or 2 shot every mob you face. In PvE and PvP, it all depends on the situation :D

Dropping totems while leveling will be a waste of time, as you will 1 or 2 shot every mob you face. In PvE and PvP, it all depends on the situation :D
The one caveat to this would be when you get mana spring totem. I typically drop 5x of them when there are a couple of mobs in one spot so it can tick a few times before I move on. This will greatly if not completely reduce the need to drink. Although it sounds like after the patch this is going away. *POUT*
