After 7 wipes, I was finally able to down Prince Keleseth in UK. My toons are level 71. Paladin and 4 druids. Our gear is nothing special, quest greens and a few blues. My druids are sitting on 7.2k hp/mp and around 530 spell power. My Paladin when buffed just clears 10k hp and about 4k mp.
It wasnt easy. 2 of the wipes I went down in like 15 seconds after the battle began. Couple times I managed to get him down about half life, and this morning I managed to survive long enough to get him to about 15k hp. The fight before I beat him was one of the super wipes. I think my tank was dead before the skeletons even spawned. When I did beat him I pretty much gave up on any kind of heal/dot rotation target the frost tombs strat and just spammed my dps button as fast as I could and maintained the instant cast rejuvination on the tank every 15 seconds instead of both HOT's. For the skeletons when they poped I just tossed the holy wrath and that was more than enough to take care of them.
Now one of my druids is the proud owner of the +233 spell power blade of evocation! Just 3 more to get and 4 hats!

Grats.
Despite being the first Northrend istance UK is definitively not easy for a group coming in quest items. Not only the bosses, but the trash is kinda hard too.
Keep going.. two more bosses to down!

Yea, the trash hit like trucks. My tank has taken over 4k on crits. Im lucky that I have not had any deaths to them yet. Those proto drakes with 80k hp are like fighting bosses from Outlands. Other than killing the last guy to get his head for a quest, im not too concerned about the other bossses as their loot tables dont have anything I want unlike the frist boss. With the dagger and cloth helm combined will give my druids 284sp (thats more than half of what I have now) 48sta, 73int, 74spirt.
I did pick up a very nice belt for my paladin off of a wandering rare mob. Soul-Sealed belt of the Champion. 1k+ ac and +34 Strength, +52 Stamina, +34 Defense Rating. I think ill be wearing that for a long time.

I got my team a bit of gear in outland before I started dungeons in northrend. My pally was partially raid geared, and was probably at the level to start Main Tanking Kara (Pre Nerf) so that definately made it easier. I am still wearing some of my epics tho, and I am 77... Weapons are easy northrend upgrades, but my chestpieces are still 70 epics. If I were you I'd fine some bored 80s and get them to run you through Kara once a week. Its a fun place, you get gear, badges, and gold.
But its up to you. I had a hard time in northrend dungeons, so I went back and did outland heroics to replace my quest rewards, and then I had a much better time.

Level 74 seems to be the magic number for Tank armor. Did a bit of research and found the following lists of quests that are not to far off or available now to me.
Level 72 29def Hands Expelling Gauntlets - Quest, Don't Forget the Eggs!
Level 73 32def Shield Bulwark of the Tormented God - Quest, Ursoc, the Bear God
Level 73 50def Legs Leggings of Forceful Purification - Quest, Ursoc, The Bear God
Level 73 28def Shoul Bone-Polished Iceplate Shoulders - Quest, Hour of the Worg
Level 73 19def Ring Kurzel's Warband - Quest, Search and Rescue
Level 74 19def Wep Hammer of Quiet Mourning - Quest, Wanted: Ragemane's Flipper
Level 74 17def Neck Betrayer's Choker - Quest, Betrayal
Level 74 25def Ring Solid Platinum Band - Quest, For Posterity
Level 74 52def Chest Clutch of the Storm Giant - Quest, The Storm King's Vengeance
Level 76 41def Helm Bronzed Dome Protector - Quest, Dreadsaber Mastery
Level 76 21def Back Cloak of the Hardened Tortoise - Quest, Making Peace
Belt Soul-Sealed belt of the Champion +34def
367 def total at 76. 305 at 74 and that's not too shabby on just quest gear, no rep or enchants. Past that everything else really are level 80 required upgrades. But if I get all that quest gear, it will prolly make levels 74-80 much easier if I continue to dip into dungeons

I was frustrated with that instance and ended up leveling my tank to 80. Problem solved :)

You can buy your tank the entire set of green cobalt armor at level 70 and it gives you something like 490 defense (at 70 - obviously if you keep the same gear at 80 it will be much less overall defense)... also tons and tons of stamina. This tank set will last you until at least 76 or 78 and costs next to nothing.
Edit: from wowinsider:
It's not technically a set in that it doesn't have a name or set bonuses, but it's 8 pieces of crafted armor, made by Blacksmiths at 375 skill and equippable at level 70, that provides tons of strength, stamina, and defense. It won't get you to the level 70 Defense cap of 490, but it will come pretty close, close enough that if you can pick up a piece of defense jewelry or a trinket or two, you'll be set for tanking up until the mid 70s or so.

What helps on that boss is Shadow Resistance Aura and have everyone /tar Frost Tomb
Ingvar the Plunderer is giving me problems I want his head on a silver platter :P
I struggled loads with this instance but after first successful run I've had no wipes. i just cleared the dragon room, ran out and reset for best xp. get around 450k/hr rested, nice if casual player.

We never did /tar Frost Tomb. The shammies usually took it out with nova totems and CL jumps. Hunters just dropped explosive trap + 2 consecrates. Buying time by pulling him out of the room and into the hallway was very useful for gathering the adds, Consec + hurricane may be useful for the pally/druid team if you simply can't heal through the ice tomb.

Ive farmed the first boss a few times now, but ive been building up mining and blacksmithing lately. Mining is now almost 300 and blacksmithing is 250. I cant afford to buy mats for blacksmithing as right now Thorium is selling for about 80-100g a stack on my server. Im almost level 72, but I havnt put much time into leveling. I play an hour or so in the morning before work and the last 3-4 days its been spent mining.

Start letting frost tombs tick full duration... practice for when you go for the achievement :P

Frost Tombs on the druids are not so much of a problem. But if the paladin gets tombed then its a wipe in like 5 seconds as he blows the druids 7k health to pieces.

Cant see why it is a problem since he casts tomb on the tank, run away and starts shadowbolting. Are your druids so high on treath that he loses aggro? Atleast with me he frost tombs me and keep dpsing the Paladin.
The ultimate tool vs bosses like this or with stacking debuffs (IF they are tauntable) pop divine shield to remove all debuffs, right click the icon to remove it and taunt.

Even with my overgeared 80 druids, I still need to use typhoon or someone dies from the ice prisons. Really that was the tipping point for me.
edit: unless I get lucky and its not the tank or healer, and I can heal through that.
Also: /stopcasting and tranquilty on RR is a lifesaver

I haven't had much luck with the /stopcasting for the "oh crap" buttons. I just jump to abort casting then hit heal. It will be a while before its easy sauce. Im only level 71 and its a level 72 boss if im not mistaken. A lot of the trash gives me problems like the double handler/drake and the 4mob pull in the bosses room. A couple of levels and scaled increases in spell power, hp's and stuff will make a 50% success rate a 90%+
Im building some rested xp up while I get blacksmithing. I want a full set of cobalt armor and that should help a lot. Yea, I could buy it or beg for it, but multiboxing is all about doing it yourself.
Every time ive had him frost tomb the tank hes reaggroed onto one of my druids. I thought that was what he did when he frost tombs. (removes that person from the threat list till thawed). Adding the /target frost tomb to my dps macros have made this a moot point but I still go down sometimes as the last 10-15k hp my druids are always out of mana and its just the paladin going at it with some little spurts from the druids as they regen a few mp's.

Weekend hours I like to run instances and burn off all the rested I gathered during the week because with the population spike on a pvp server makes running around questing and stuff a bigger hassle with PK's and griefers. Anyway last night (friday) I spent a good amount of time developing a new aoe instance macro for my paladin to try vs the old /castrandom (insert every spell here) that I was useing before.
Im not high enough level yet to build a real 969 macro but im fairly close so theres a few spots every 12 seconds or so I have a half second to a second pause in the button smashing thats waiting for cool downs. Two of my druids who have a couple of drops from the first boss of UK are hitting near 500dps. Yea, its not an exciting number but its better than the 400dps the other two are putting out. Before my paladin was doing about 450ish dps so sitting in the middle there. I get home from work, do a couple cut and pastes and it takes a good hour or so to get the macro to work right. Mostly syntax and spelling errors as I built it in notepad at work. But alas, its too long to use with the /start attack and /use lines along with the sound error removal script. So I spent a few more min building a /click macro that had all the /attack, use, sound stuff in it and hit the other macro sitting on the bottom right toolbar. Works like a champ!
Off to UK to earn some easy xp and maybe a drop or two for the other half of the team. Wow! Paladins DPS is now at 800-850 and even on single mob pulls it was over 600. I was very impressed and even though it spamms concecration he was ending every fight full health and full mana from judgement of wisdom, and Sanctuary. I was very pleased with the results, till I got to that damned first boss. I dont know if the stars were in a bad alignment or what, but I wiped 4 times on him till I got him down and even then it was slopy. He was at about 30k hp when the druids started to dry fire oom. Every other time I fought and beat him this didnt happen till he was under 10k hp. This morning I got on for an hour before work and just like last night, I got wiped twice before takeing him down and it was a sloppy oom fest with a good chunk of the fight still to go. Paladin isnt the problem, whole time hes full hp full mana. I guess I realy need to do some druid research as the /castrandom starfire, wrath, wrath and manualy applying the two DOT's just isnt working.
In the end, I did get one more cloth headpeice for a druid so it wasnt a total loss.

After a couple of weekends building mining and blacksmithing I build my paladin a full set of level 70 cobalt armor. This increased my HP by about 1200 and my defense is up quite a bit from where it was before.
The first boss in UK is going down fairly easy now, I haven't had a wipe or death on him in the last 4 attempts, Even the hard pulls are now not so hard. The double handler and drake pull and the 4mob pull right before the boss im not having to blow treants or cooldowns on.
So I decided to give the second bosses a try and I don't know what im doing wrong. I wiped 5 times on them last night before giving up. One fight I did get the warrior down, but it seems about 30 seconds or so into the fight the mage boss just turns and guns down all my druids in a row with shadow bolts. It was almost comical watching him shoot them down like they were apples on a fence and nothing I could do with the paladin would stop him. Ive watched some videos, but they are not much help as they kill the guys in under 30 seconds and make it look all easy sauce. The only tactic ive really read about is kill them both at the same time to avoid the ghost versions and put the druids inside charge radius.
I guess next is to find some upgrades for the druids and see if I can get +200 more dps or so. Paladin is sitting at 600-1000 depending on the aoe, but the druids are topping out at 500-600 is all. Or just outlevel, outgear, OP the whole thing. But any advice is welcome.

Don't get too aggravated about this instance -- many of us skipped this instance while leveling specifically because of the first boss.
I never got him down with my Warrior + 3 warlocks + priest team. This boss is very boxer-unfriendly unless you're running shamans or a team that has some decent aoe.
Being geared at 70 helps immensely as well. I was in the same boat you are in - low 70's with mostly quest greens and blues.

Makes sure everyone standing next to the tank.
Take the warrior down to half then switch to the caster while yeh working on the caster check the health of the warrior if yeh take em down about the same time it ends up being easier.
If yeh end up killing one first they transform into the ghost form and they end up going bonkers on who ever.

Here is with "on the rocks" achivment! The trick is to be able have each shaman spam lesser healing wave on a certain char. So when my healer gets tombed, my other shamans can heal him or my tank.
