Hey guys, this is Kayleann, I have retired one of my accounts, and now I am dual boxing, rather than tri.
I have two options: my hunter team (level 61) or my druid team (RAF 48 boomkins). What do you guys think? And it is nice to be back on here with keyclone too!
;) Missed you guys

Hunters are mainly survival now to push the dps to the max.. Macroing the lock and load proc is impossible and you cant just spawn explosive shot when it procs either. (since the first explosive shot will still tick when the second lands and lower possible dps)

MM should be possible to macro however and is reciving a few buffs wich should make it on par with survival, maybe even better!

Cant say for boxing more hunters, but including a hunter into my shamans wasnt easy. He ended up on 600-700 dps while i do 1500 myself and pass 2200 in raids.

You can get a proc monitor (mik's combat scroll combat text will work) for your toons. As for how hard itd be to upkeep, i cant comment. There are several 5x druid team players on these boards, maybe theyll chime in.

Thanks for the input so far guys, I would love to hear from a druid x 5 group about eclipse... it just seems too much to handle.

Thanks for the input so far guys, I would love to hear from a druid x 5 group about eclipse... it just seems too much to handle.Someone on here posted about his 5 Boomkin team, I wish I could remember because he's awesome - and he posted video of his team in Icecrown.

I 3-boxed a team to 80 with a Boomkin as leader - very powerful, and I would just worry about the proc on the leader, and not worry about the second.

Also, you have 3.1 coming, with dual-spec, so you can have two Boomkin/feral, which is a very tasty combo - lots of DPS and then a tank when you need one, or go Boomkin/feral and Boomkin/Resto - you have a DPS team for leveling and trash, and then a tank/healer combo for harder fights.

And, honestly, it's so easy to level anything to 40 now, you could go with just about anything you want. The leveling curve is so easy now, why limit your options? Heck, you have 60's - you could add a DK in there with the Boomkin.

Or, if you want some real fun, dual box 2 DKs. :) I have 3 as a team, they're pretty formidable alone, as a team? Forget it!

One option, like i know a lot of locks and such do, is to simply skip the talents that have procs that want you to cast something based on it, and just spend the points elsewhere.
But with just two characters you should be able to take full advantage of said procs if you get a good proc warning setup in mik's scrolling battle text.

In the end I didn't respec,I don't Raid with them tho,but for BG's when I notice a proc i'll run with it.
My personal preference is Hunters, pets help keep of melee class and tackle casters,my droods have a much harder time.
Hope this helps. GL boxing :)

Thanks for the input guys. I was mainly looking at the boomx2 or hunterx2 because on my lead account I have all my single box characters. I would rather box the same class
and spec because I am not sure if I can multi task that well, focus on healing while tanking, etc. But thanks for the input, I guess I will roll with whatever is more fun, we will
see ;) Boomkins got level 60 last night so its time to pick! Its nice to hear from you all again!

As someone with a survival hunter who is raiding weekly, I can give this input about explosive shot. Explosive shot procs a max of once per 30 seconds. If you are dual-boxing and have a mod like Tell Me When to notify you visually that you have a proc on either screen you can easily just punch the key with your explosive shot spell. If it's not off CD for your alt, your alt won't fire the explosive shot. Since it's insta-cast (only limited by GCD) you won't lose a ton of dps on the alt while you briefly Explosive, pause a half second, Re-Exposive once the dot wears off.

The general rotation is very simple and should work well for a dual-boxer:
Begin fight with Hunter's Mark
Send pets in
Serpent Stings
Explosive Shots
Steady Shots
Steady Shots
Explosive Shots
Steady Shots
Steady Shots

-Reapply Mark when it wears off
-Reapply serpents when they wears off
-Shoot free procs (about once every 30 seconds per toon)

There are two camps of Survival Hunters right now. Trap Dancers and Distance Shooters. If you're dual-boxing I'd recommend the Distance Shooting. If you are going for trap dancing, you'll have a little more trouble. Disengage is buggy and you may find that sometimes you jump back very far and other times you hardly move at all. This could separate your toons a bit and cause a need to manually move an alt - not good.

Thanks a ton for the input! I was aming for distance. I will give the hunters a go and see if I keep enjoying leveling them! :D

Nice to see everyone again!
