One thing i notice sometimes is on my main machine if i open a chat window or reply to a tell i'll start typing and i hit certain keys my line gets deleted and the offending letter overwrites the line. Is this a bug? Anyone else have had this happen?

Joe W :)

When I'm doing my password, if I use a G15 key to enter it, I lose a few letters from the non-main window with keyclone.
If I put do-not-broadcast on, and press the key for each window at a time, it works fine.
If I manually type the password, it also works fine.

Not sure what the issue is between a G15 and Keyclone, but that's my only issue of losing letters.
My in-game G15 things are pretty much obscure keybinds like "Alt + Ctrl + ~", which keyclone broadcasts to all clients easily.

are the letters that are not passing also in your do-not-pass (DNP) list?

you can set the DNP obverride to suspend the DNP list and allow everything to pass normally.
go to keyclone/setup/override settings and set the hotkey for override DNP (i use ctrl+pause since i use pause for normal override)

I would notice, that even though all acounts use the same password, one account would occasionally not log and i would get the bad password message. I always assumed I was dropping a letter/number somewhere but didn't worry about it much.

I also have a G15 and this happens sometimes. Like Keyclone said I usually just set it to pass all keys and it works fine. Also it's funny you should say that. i always lose 1 of my accts to the wrong password error. always and it's never the same client. It's usually random. So i have gotten completely used to having to set the do not pass and just go back to that 1 client.

I've also noticed this when typing passwords or quiting the game by typing /quit (with the DNP override on, of course).

What I've learned with this is that when DNP override is enabled, the hotstrings (or whatever they are called) still get translated. So until there is a new option in keyclone to ignore the hotstrings, you'll get this. I'm guessing when the
:) gets translated to
:O you have a hotstring that translates the ")" to"O"

no translations configured anywhere,
my DNP table is empty, since I remapped the movement keys (qweasd) keys on the Alts.

it is just an odd thingy, since it only did it with one Alt .. maybe there was just a lag on my comp or something.
cheers

Is the letter O or 0 (zero).

If it's a 0 (zero), and the : character on your keyboard is typed with SHIFT down, then it may be that the second character is typed unshifted. You should try letting go of the shift key in between tying in : and )

You can also try to type something as uppercase only (holding down shift - do not use caps lock), and see if it types some characters unshifted on the alts.
