Posted a couple of other screen shots of groups I have abandoned and with them their UI. I am a constant restarter continually enjoying getting things set up to how I like them. May be my ADHD but, whatever. Anyway, I have been experimenting using mouse clicks and keyboard modifiers to keep the fun of clicking with the expandability of the keyboard. The biggest problem with a mouse click is you can just click once, whereas with a keyboard you can press 3 keys in rapid succession (or whatever). I also like to tri-box because a) it is cheaper and b) gives your party a good deal of options without really leaving much out. Right now I think it is easiest to have a Hunter or a Warlock as a main and let their pet tank and I worry about the people in the back row.

Anyway, here is what I set up with my 3 man test team on two 22 inch monitors.

I really like nUI as it is pretty sleak. I wish I had more configuration options, but it is definitely worth a look for people who are looking for a good UI.

On this temp team I have set up three actionbar clusters for each player on my main screen and 1 group cluster. The main has his group of buttons on the right of him and the shared on the left. Next to my two character portraits (which don't exist in this screen shot because we aren't grouped) are 2 columns of 6 buttons. Each cluster is for each character. Basically I used HotKeyNet to take a screen press on my main's screen, convert it to a keystroke and then broadcast that out to my slave screen. Works very well as I don't have to search for the right key and it is all infront of me on the screen. The problem is obviously only having limited on screen area and buttons in addition to being able to only press the mouse once. I partially fixed that with altering my mouse click. On the left of my main screen you'll see a priest heal. If I click it with my left mouse button, it heals my main. If I CTRL + Click, it heals slave 1 (top left) and if I SHIFT + Click it heals my slave 2. All it does is send different keyboard strokes to those windows and I have keymapped them accordingly.

That should handle the simple macros. The more complicated ones with spell rotations will be put on my cluster on the left of my main so I can manage sending singnals out to both my slaves at the same time. Not sure if anyone has any interest in this, but I do plan on tweaking it more before I really start playing.
