1 of the guys had 2 different names on his accounts.

Another guy was posting a thread about a spam email he got asking for his user name and password saying he was going to get banned.

I mightve missed some others, but thats an explanation for two of them.

And more importantly, this. Zero was saying he got a scam email trying to get his account names and password. And the second guy used his girlfriends name which is against ToS.

Because there have been a lot of new boxers lately, and a lot of new GMs thanks to Wrath. More boxers + more new GMs = more boxers getting banned by GMs that aren't aware of the policies.

the past like 5/10 post have been about people getting banned.. is there a multiboxing wave of bans going around? and should i be careful? or was it just out of chance? false. there is two out of a bunch of threads about account bans/suspension/attempted hacks. not 5 out of 10, or 5 to 10, or whatever 5/10 means.

The two posts about it here just seem like a bigger deal, because so few here get banned.

If you've set your accounts up right, and are'nt using anything dodgy, you should be fine. You should *always* be careful, this style of play has a lot of "gotchas" that you can innocently stumble over - and that's where this website shines, all the info you need is right here.

I think the more people get wind of dual-boxing.com, the more people are jumping into MB'ing without understanding the ins and outs. Sharing accounts seems to be a common problem.
