need more keys

im currently trying out 3 classes its going fine but im running out of keys for different senarios.

I have 2 warlocks 2 priests and 1 shaman, the warlocks are main dps and voidwalkers take care of tanking, i have the priests on the side for hot heals for anyone, and the shaman does the most of the healing.

but im running out of keys, im sure many of you have ran into simular problems, ive currently used up most of the spare i have left includeing all of my keyboards numberpad keys, what i was wondering if was could i buy

maybe even 2 and plug them in and use them as extra keys from my keyboard or do you think that it would conflict with the number pad i have built in?

not really seen many other ways of tackleing this issue.

Using extra Numpads won't work, it'll just conflict with the existing numberpad.

What you need to buy is some type of Programmable Keyboard like an X-keys or Nostromo N52

Google for "Programmable Keyboards" There are plenty of solultions, not all of them are "off the shelf" but they definately work.

thanks Wilbur, i checked out X-keys couldnt find any cheaper than £100 i can afford it probably later on next year but christmas has cost me an arm and a leg this year, i might buy the N52 looks pretty good.

You could always introduce shift layers.

Left Alt
Left Shift
Left Control

Right Alt
Right Shift
Right Control

Plus a button.... are ALL distinct buttons as far as WoW is concerned.

thanks Xzin for you post i havent thaught of doing that :) will check it out from older forum posts, will be intresting as im bit of a manic button basher, but i use ctrl to control the warlock pets, so this shouldnt be a too bigger step up from that.
