New Guy with all the same issues

Greetings all. I am 3 accounting on one comp and have actually been successful on my copying of the WOW directories, getting maximizer to work pretty close to where I want it, and having AutoKeys do some limited functionality.

Here are my issues that I need assistance with.

1. My video is still not quite correct. I son't think I am optimized for my monitor which is set up for 1680 x 1050. here is my Maximizer file.

REM batch file to launch 3 evenly spaced wows
REM Left Monitor
c:\WOW1\maximizer.exe --margin 400,30,0,0
REM Top of right monitor
c:\WOW2\maximizer.exe --margin 0,525,0,840
REM Bottom of right monitor

does the 1st one ned to be --margin 525,30,0,0?

2. I have set up AutoHotKeys but I need some assist on how to get my guys to target my pally tanks target. I am running a pally tank as my main and two warlocks. I have ensured that I have taken the melee attacks off of my warlocks action bar and put their shadow bolt on it for now on 1, immolate as 2, and corruption as 3. Do I need to do a macro that will have their pets attack (assist) the tank as well as them? If so some suggestions would be immensely helpful (I will settle for links to do the research and editting myself as I need to buff up on my macro skills)

3. I did already do the invite and accept macro so I am getting there.

I appreciate any help you all can provide.

Alright I have my screens set correctly now. Fiddled with the settings and have the video fixed.

Now I need to resolve my targetting issues... but progress. Have the dual warlocks and paladin leveling slowly... but much faster than if I was doing them all separately.

thats what i'd use, and what i do use for my hunters minus the immolate, i use arcane shot.... :P

App app app, always CoA first! Longer DOT-timer! Then Corruption and THEN Immolate. Shame on you mister hunter.

With three Locks, I don't see the benefit of CoA since it's damage takes so long to accumulate to be worthwhile. Immolate/Corruption would be more solid, with a SB, LT/DP, DL/DS rotation so they NEVER run out of mana or life.

thats assuming 5/5 imp cor, and past level eight (when you get Agony)

Okay I think my problem is AutoHotkeys isn't accepting input from my correct window. But I have hard coded in the assist name and they were doing pretty well.

Its a slow initial process but I am probably at the 20% mark for efficiency. For fun I rolled 3 priests on a new PVP server and was able to get two smites off on one screen but had to manually key up the other ... but the asssit was working. Let me tell you three priest mow through the starting areas pretty quickly. I was having problems when using the paladin as the tank as my keying wasn't matching but running 3 of the same seems easier for now

I have no experiance with autohotkeys, but in keyclone i had the problem that he added EVERY Window with World of Warcraft in his name, like the Explorer Window with the WoW folder open or my browser with a wow side open.

Also, some popups blocked the input.

you could check the 'exact name match' option in the setup/general area. that will insure the auto-adds pick up the right window.

or you could add them manually, or via commands... and just turn off the auto-add

alright I am now operating at the 30% of effectiveness. I experience lag issues (3 toons split screen on same box) but it is still quicker than running three separate toons through.

Hardest part of my day is getting my "master" set using AutoHotKeys. But once that is done I am hauling. My current crew is 3 lvl 9 priest and I am growing a paladin to replace one priest. I also have a paladin and two warlocks at the same level. I tired of the guild drama (deputy guild master and needed a break so jumped servers and went horde).

I have been quest grinding and am nearing lvl 10 and will be replacing one priest with a pally tank. My biggest issue is when my main toon dies. Currently my typical rotation is

main toon targets mob (tab)
1=follow, assist main toon... main toon auto attacks
2=smite rank 2 from all three toons
3=Shadow Word Pain
4=Renew (on main toon) ... tried to have alts cast this on main toon... my macro doesn't work
5=Shield (on main toon) ... nothing on alts presently... would like to be able to script them to cast it on themselves (need a macro here)

I started out with a paladin but kepted getting errors as I had nothing programmed into the #2,3,4 keys etc. But I am a little bit better off.

I do need to figure out how to cast the renews on the main toon as that way I could be steam rolling along. Have to admit this is more fun than I have had in WOW for a while.

Woot... have my renews flowing ... I dropped a "/" at the beginnig of the line. Issue resolved.

Now as I am single boxing with 3 WOW running split screen I am experiencing some lag issues. Should I minimize the other two windows to hopefullt speed up the box a bit or just suck it up?

Once I am out of town it is generally no issue. I am still leveling the 3-4 toons much faster than if I was doing it individually.
