Boradcasting Synergy from Windows to Linux

Hey there, I'm new to multiboxing (actually I'm trying to run 2 chars at once) and would like to use Synergy to boradcast they keys I press on Windows to Linux. I'm using the Synergy + Broadcasting client on my Windows and the normal Synergy client on Linux.

I set up a hotkey for boradcasting but I dose not work. Moving the mouse out of the windows screen to the Linux works but, also using the windows keyboard on the linux machine. But I can't type on Win and Linux at the same time!

Now my question: Does the default synergy client support boradcasting?

no, but i reckon it would be an easy change in the source code, at least if the linux pc is the "host".

Unfortunately the windows computer is the host. Has anyone experience with "cross-platform" multiboxing?
