Man it can be tough!!! lolz
So my 4 shamans all hit 48, and i decided it was time for me to do my first battle ground. So I jumped in an AB. There was glory, and huge embarrassing defeat. So often my leader was killed so fast and my remaining 3 guys just kinda floundered about before they got wasted. Once even my leader was killed by one guy. some warlock fears the leader, and starts to dps him down, i can't even get a heal off because my guys won't stand still cuzz they're following the leader everywhere on his panicked run. Man that warlock must have felt good about himself ( I know i would have haha) Getting fear bombed by warriors that charge in, and priests that run up from behind. PVP is so easy, and hard at the same time. I'm having a really good time w/ it, and trying not to get discouraged if i get raped haha.
Then the magic happened.
Another shaman started to heal me.
THE PAIN TRAIN WAS RUNNING!!
Oh man we were just cutting through the allies like a knife on fire through butter. It was so great.
All of the pervious games that i had lost all i heard was "Blame the multiboxer"
Now it was just "multiboxing is so sexy!!" "i'm so jealous!! i want to do that!!"
It was a really good time.
Then I had an idea, and I'm sure someone out there has done it before, but here it is anyways.
Does anyone ever make one if their followers resto and put earth shield on the leader? It seems like losing some dps would be offest by my leader living longer. Then make like CTRL+lightning key would instead of having all my guys shoot lightning, to have the 3 elemental cast it and the resto on heal my leader so i can DPS and heal at the same time. I'm sure someone has triedt his before, i think it would be better w/ 5 shamans, so you can have 4 killers, but i'm just working w/ what i got. I think at 50 maybe i'll give it a try... but at the same time i don't wanna spec any of my guys outa my super damage specs. oh well. testing can be fun. If anyone has tried the resto shaman thing and wants to post I'd love to hear about it.
Also anyone can post to laugh at me about my multiboxing failures, or to post embarrassing ones that happened to them lol :whistling:

One thing about the older bgs is, if you lose, it's always the boxer's fault. If you win, it may or may not be your fault, unless you're pretty high up on the damage/kills, then people will start to recognize you (and sometimes /cheer when they see you).
On the subject of your leader being feared, just keep keybindings such as the arrow keys to move your clones. Instead of them following around your feared leader, just bump the back arrow key and they'll stop moving, and heal your leader or kill the warlock (or whatever). I don't remember what level us shammies got tremor totem, but immediately drop them on all toons, and hopefully your leader will be un-feared before he runs out of range. Also, get the PvP trinket as your first upgrade.
If you're just gonna PvP with your shammies, there's really no need to have one as resto, imo. 4 (or 5) chain lightnings usually take out 1 to 3 enemies. If you're going to run instances, make one as resto and get a tank. I had five elemental shaman before WolK came out, but PvP just wasn't fun anymore with all the craptastic changes so I rolled a DK tank and made a shaman resto and haven't looked back really.

Yeah, once you get the habit of having tremor totems down (especially with offset timing on them) you will be able to stop worrying about fear and be much more effective. :)

Also, add a movement keybind for your followers so they can heal you while your main is cc'ed. Boxers wouldn't get as much hate from our own faction if the new ones would learn how to play a little bit before projecting themselves into group situations.

The boxers who get embarrassed their first time and stop queuing in order to solve their problems are the kind of players I like queuing with later on down the road. These are the guys who hear the /cheers when they are at the prep area from their teammates.

Thanks for the info Naysayer, but I was really just posting about silly mistakes I made while having fun in my first BG. But thank you for the serious toned lecture anyways.

FTL setup! If one toon gets feared/stunned/rooted simply switch to another toon. Your 'single' main getting feared and the alts following him around must have looked pretty funny. :)
