Hello. I am leveling up my first 5box team. I currently run 4 elemental shaman and one DK tank, all of which are 65 atm. I switched to a DK tank from a Paladin once my team hit 60. I recently read this article ('http://www.wowinsider.com/2009/03/06/patch-3-1-build-9658-death-knight-changes/') on wowinsider.com regarding changes to DK tanking, and I must say, I am wondering if I made the right choice. It seems that DK tanking is getting a heavy handed nerf. Could someone with deeper knowledge of the DK tank comment on this and let me know if this is as bad as it appears?

Erm...

None of those changes even affect my DK tank at all except the cooldown for bone shield, which I only use on boss fights anyway...

Yeah, only nerf is boneshield cooldown. I forget to use this 1/2 the time anyway.

Only nerfs as far as I can tell is Unbreakable Armor and Lichborne. Which are mostly the OH-SHI! buttons. And of cause Bone Shield. The interesting one is Blade Barrier though, not sure how much that's gonna hurt (if at all).

The DK is already a very strong tank. With or without these changes, they're very much a strong contender for best boxer tank.

The only situation I've found that sucks for a DK tank, is when silenced.
Other then right-click auto attack, most of the moves required not being silenced.
In particular, doing Stratholme as a mid 60's, being silenced really sucked there.

In every other situation, the class has rocked. They've easily solo'd Burning Crusade era group content, which none of my other toons could do as easily.
The class is fine.
