View Full Version : Keyclone/Maximizer Ponderings (NOT A NEED-HELP POST)

Hello all, Brand New boxer here! 2 boxing on one computer, just downloaded Keyclone and have a slight inquiry.

I'm on a 1440 x 900 and have gotten WoW to initialize via wow maximizer in a TOP/BOTTOM set up, No problems there.

I'm wondering if there is a way i can get a setup thats something like this:

1= Wow 1
2= Firefox
3= WoW 2
4= ENTIRE Desktop

Now if the Keyclone maximizer can't effect my Desktop then don't worry about it I'll just quarantine all my Folders/shortcuts on that section of the desktop.

Optimally I'd like to ban/disable Fire-fox from picking up keyclone. Is this a possibility or would I have to pause when switching to Fire-fox?

If neither of these are doable, I'll be fine with a top/bottom setup and find an extra monitor somewhere to set up for dual... thanks for the help

Ugh, on linux this would be easier to do but even on Windows it is not "simple".

You are going to have problems confining the desktop to one corner. Then how would you move your mouse from one to another?

i see... oh well i'm fine with just using 1/2 of the screen for wow and the other half for desktop/other apps

hi bhs, and welcome to the forums

as for your questions:

keyclone cannot effect the desktop, sorry

you can drop one of the clones from sending/accepting keys while also being maximized. just find the desired clone in the keyclone list, right click and select suspend. and 's' will appear on that line in the keyclone list. no cloned keys will move in or out of that clone.
