Hey guys, just figured I would share my Boosting technique, most of you probobly already do this, is just for others to see aswell.
Level 60 in /played 21H 38M 11S.
1 Shaman, 1 Druid. Using lvl 80 DK OR lvl 80 mage to boost.
For the summoning, I used the RAF summoning, taking alt char's to the locations then summoning each other.
1) Summoned Shammy and druid to Northshire abby play'd their till 10.
2) Summoned to Deadmines, did full run about 5 times [[using Mage]] To Reach level 15
3) Summoned to Stockades, did full run 12 times[[Using Mage]] To Reach Level 25
4) Summoned to Scarlet Cathedral, did around 23 times[[Using DK]] To Reach Level 45
5) Summoned to BlackRock Depths, did the first big room, then the 2 rooms to the East and North(ring) then reset. Around 9 times[[Using DK]] To Reach lvl 53.
6)Summoned to Western Plaguelands, did all the quests [[Using DK]] To Reach lvl 60.
Pretty repetetive but very large output =)

You could add in ZF from level 40 for some variety. I'm using my 80 hunter to boost a paladin and a rogue.
- Leave the alts at the main entrance,
- Mount up proximity pull all of the first section up until it splits off in two directions, run back to main entrance near alts and AoE the lot down. I find that if i pull more than the first section i get overwhelmed and die.
- I then move the alts up to the end of this section,
- Take the main and run left, pull eveyrthing up to and including all the mobs around the pond. Bring back and AoE down.
- Then go right and pull everything up to the steps event. Bring back and AoE down.
- You can then go and do the boss events for gear and some extra xp if you like. Takes about 20mins per run this way.
I've found that if you DON'T try and LoS the casters, they stand and cast far enough away that they don't turn you into a frog. I can then ranged AoE(Volley) the pack of casters/ranged down.

You can go to scarlet monestary at 20. I'm not 100% sure on the exp return rate of the next 5 levels, but I think sm is better.
If you aren't hitting the reset cap(5 runs an hour) just doing cathedral, you could be doing it faster. Mixing in armory will get you more exp/hour at that point. (if your characters can't handle doing it faster, then doing it slower with less risk of dying is probably better for you)
When you get to 55 you can start doing outland instances.
A lot more and better information can be found in the wiki. I'm too lazy to check, but I'm guessing a lot of it is outdated and based around pre-wotlk 70 paladins, but most of it should still be good with some minor changes.

My boosting path is
1-15 level whit a lock that got pet attack bound to something instant canst, you tag pet kill= full xp just doing quests.
15-23 SFK, faster than dm (stops when mobs get green)
23-35 SM, skipping GY when mobs get green and skips library
35-50 full sunken tempel runs not the fastest but i hate dying in ZF becuse of bad luck
50-55 BRD
55+outland questing whit lock mob tagging.
For instance boosting im using my 80holy pally

With RAF and my DK boosting, my record is 8 hours 10 minutes played from 1 to 60... My rough guess is that an hour or more of that is traveling.
1-10 hand level. This usually takes just shy of 2 hours. Macro setup took like 20 minutes! This could be shortened.
10-15 WC. It takes 3 runs the way I do it to get from 10-15.
15-20 RFK. It's perfect because you are killing mobs the entire way from entering the instance until you zone out.
20-35 SM. I can clear all of Cath and Armory in about 6 minutes. It comes out to about 3-5 minutues a level.
35-45 ZF. ZF is like RFK in that you are killing mobs the whole way through from entering until you zone out.
45-55 LBRS. Most of the mobs are melee so they all run to you. I zone in, go down a bit, then hop down to the Orc area, clear it, then go back to the entrance coming up through the troll area. Very fast at ~800xp a kill.
55-60 Ramparts. The mobs in ramparts are just as easy as LBRS but they throw out 1600-1900xp per kill. Very fun times :)

Does that mean your not pulling packs to the entrance but just running in with toons on follow?

I put them on follow and then break it at big pull areas so they dont die.

using a druid to boost was the smartest decision I ever made. SM-Cath in one pull with AOE cat swipe & Strat is now a joke. Take the DK for sure over the Mage. GL

Pretty repetetive but very large output =)I do the same setup but on Line 5, I do Scholomance
on 5, I did all the Quest for the Scholomance Key, so i do scholo instead of BRD, there is about 40 npc just on the first room, and more in other rooms, I go by qty of npc, the more npc the more XP, I leave my toons on the previous room i clear and they still collect XP while my DK clear the second room,, At the last boss I leave them just outside the Gate so they are not teleport and they still collect all the XP. I level to 60, as most of the NPC in Scholo are Elite 57 to 60
I never did BRD but everyone mention it so it pick my curiosity, will have a look

Man I use to boost with my pally but then I figured out about the warrior talent that deals damage equal to your block value and let me tell you it is hands down insane I never come close to dieing and can pull any and all mobs i want..
