I have so far got my 3 toons , 1 shamy,1 palli and 1 mage to L69 and now have just decided to upgrade them to 5 toons so have just ordered 2 more coppies of WoW,BC,Wotlk
My aim is to run 5 man heroics once they are all L80
So i have a few questions
1. what other 2 toons should i add to the current set up ( DPS and use my palli as tank in the heroics or get a warrior + dps ) ??
2. is it possible to run heroics sucessfully running 5 different class toons with 1 person controling them all ? or will that be an epic fail :D
3. my current pc is Q6600 @3.4 each core with 4gig ram ( but using xp 32 bit ) so all is not getting used , GFX card is 8800gts 512mb model,, and monitor is 24" , will that set up run 5 instances of WOW ok ? ( atm runs 3 fine ,,just takes 1-2 mins to load all 3 games at start )

Just choose whatever classes you like or are comfortable with. Some people do it with only 2 classes, while others do 5 classes.
mainly a preference thing.
But your RAM is on the shy side imo (considering you're not using all of it :pinch: ). I would definitely upgrade to a x64 bit platform, and up the RAM to 8gig. A second display wouldn't hurt either.

You can use as many as you like, but i like to stick with 2, as I use different settings/resolutions for my alts then I do my main. Making separate directories for different settings/addons is easier :D

Man, I wish I was 5 boxing when my highest toons were 69 instead of waiting until 3 were 80 and then adding 2 more to the mix... I'm hating the leveling process all over again, but you're saving yourself some time. But, I digress...
I run off of one WoW folder and I use 5 clients. There are posts about symlinking folders, but I don't currently implement it (I'm not sure if it would really help when running on an SSD).
Are you sure your computer can handle 5 WoWs?
You already have a mixed class so you might as well add whichever two you think you'll have the most fun with. Perhaps a boomkin and a second shaman.

the 8800 gts 512mb get RLY hot when just running 3 wows, 5 would overheat it, change the cooler on youre gpu or get a new 1:\

Guess ill find out soon enough as my other games should be here tommorow or the next day as they are in the post.

I'd definitely recommend a 2nd monitor (I run my main toon on my main monitor, the other 4 take a quarter each of the 2nd monitor). It makes the experience so much nicer, and is also truly useful outside of WoW.
You'll get by on 4GB (assuming you really have about 3GB spare for WoW) - each copy of WoW takes about 500-600MB - but you'll be wishing you had more (which means an operating system upgrade to a 64-bit version).
Dalaran will be a no-go area though, unless you only play 1 or 2 toons at a time.
I'm just about to upgrade to 8GB (I have vista 64), and I'm confident that will make a big improvement to my experience, especially in Dalaran.
