requesting fraps of how to box vanilla content XD

i just started boxxing come content yesterday,

I cheat a little, i bring my heroic 5 man team. Honestly its a joke, I am afraid to try and kill garr. To many moments at 60 dieing to him ebcause we were down 1 warlock.

Anyhow im curious of certainly a few bosses.

1.) The MC boss with like the 5 healers or something?

2.) Major Domo

3.)Garr

4.)BWL- Razorgore



Lastly, i have a few questions:

1.) is it easy to get ony cloak, its been so long i forget how to do it.

2.) Wheres the plan for sulfuron hammer found, not having luck.

3.) Yes it has been a long time... With hydraxian warlords rep to douse the runes to fight Rag, ... Where do i talk to that dude. I remeber some big elemental dude in kalimidor. Cant thottbot, cuz forgot name and quest line!

everything in MC is tank and spank
just burn the bosses and the adds dont become a problem.
I think I burned Rag down in 15 seconds.

Razor in BWL, have a tank taunt the adds on top of the MC orb, drop magma tots and have an alt do the mind control.

Did MC with a couple of friends before the last shaman dps buff and it was a major pain since the overall dps was so low and things took ages. (non of them were even 80)

The boss with 4 or 5 healers can be bursted down with a little timing but im not sure with major domo.

The guy who gives out douses is located on a island far far east in azshara.

My guild did MC for over one and a half year and we NEVER saw one drop.. We finally got the bindings to make one thunderfury but never a singel eye!

At level 80 you can tank n' spank a lot of it. Some of it you don't even need a tank (Onyxia, cough!)

with lack of enrage timers some classes can solo MC so i think doing it with a 5 team will be no problem at all.

and you dont need to douse the runes anymore last patch major domo spawns soon as you have killed all of the other bosses so then you can summon raggy after domo is defeated.

The Sulfuron Hammer, as your link says, does not require blood of heroes, but blood of the mountain, which is a lot easier to get, and tradeable.
Eye of Sulfuras has dropped for two people i know in about a month, I wonder if they increased the chance on it.
Onyxia cloak: Recipe is leatherworking and gained from turning in onyxia's head, needs a cloak made with tailoring, and an onyxia scale to make.
MC can be soloed/duoed with lvl 80 tank+healer or such, and with your lvl 80 heroics team you'll have no problem as long as you can handle curses (my lvl 71 shammy team would have killed lucifron if not for the increased mana cost curse).

BWL I have done with as few as 6 (one player per character) 80's so far, as long as you can get past the first two bosses, and the suppression room, you should be in good shape. Remember cloaks for at least the tank for drakes and nef (anyone who want to survive nef entering phase two without a cloak need to hide behind the throne)

I just 5 shammied almost all of MC. I can kill everything in the entire instance with the exception of baron geddon as he will put a magic debuf on you that burns 400 mana every 3 seconds. I skipped him and killed everything else, then brought in a DK tank friend, and it was ridiculously easy, but I was forced to wait 5 minutes for the debuff to wear off. With water shield and all mana totems, I could barely regen any mana even out of combat. I wonder if something like restorative potion would work to remove the magic debuf. All the other fights where a simple dps race. Kinda funny, he got knocked back by ragnaros rather quickly and died in the lava, and I was still able to burn him down from 90% well before he submerged.

Gehennas was one of the tougher fights as the magical debuf puts cripples your healing by 75%. I could have let a few of my shammys die, but I managed to live through it. Garr was a little challenging as you can either try to kill the adds first and get knocked all over the place, or just ignore the adds and focus garr down. I was focusing Garr, but using my magma totems and got knocked a few times all over the place, but still didn't even come close to dying.

I had a few wipes due to stupidity and some for forgetting the fights. Golemagg, I was trying to remember how to split up the corehounds so I could focus him down, but realized that it's nothing more than an easy dps fight to simply ignore the adds and burn him down. Sulfuron Harbinger was surprisingly easy - especially with lava burst as you can usually nuke the priests down at 50% before the others start to heal. Same with Domo - focus the healers first and try to keep an eye on the spell reflect debuff and just got to town.

After that experience, I think I'm gonna continue to farm it weekly until i get either the twink healing (+29 SP) or the spell (+30 SP) enchant. I got 5 boe epics that all sold for over 100g

Almost forgot to mention... in regards to "douse the runes", with the last patch, you no longer need the aqual quintessence. as soon as you kill the boss next to the rune, it will flame out.

Can't you ground this debuff with 5 grounding totems?


Ignite Mana: Debuffs random players within 45 yards with a debuff that continually burns mana and deal fire as long as mana is burned. Should be removed with Dispel Magic.
This suggests that this spell can be grounded but maybe I am just wrong here ... :)
