The multiboxers gold making ways?

Hi im reletively new to this but i was thinking, how do you guys use multiboxing to grind gold?


Ideas:

Obviusly doing all Q in nether, blades and smv with all 5 caracters at lvl 70 and it wud grand about 10'ooo-20'ooo gold?

Anoter is to run normal mecc/botanica (or whatever) and diss al the drops and get 5 large parismics ea runn wuch go for around 25g on my server (frostmane) so if ya do 1 runn a hr and do 3 runns a day youd get around 375g a day (~2600g a weak).

The third one is going maad sholo runns and get 10 large shards and 1-5 orbs a runn (shards go for 10g and orps 25-50g ea).


The fourth is to get payed for pwning in arena (if your well gered that is) just teach him to heal and makim pay ya 1000g for 2000 rating r sum

ahh of course, i always for get them 5x 11g x1-10(quests) = 55-550g a day XD

yummy so if id bother it wud be 3800g a weak :)

I normally run UBRS followed by a quick round-up of LBRS bosses. D/E everything and get my tailor to make some cloth items to D/E from all the runecloth (you can do the same with all the leather drops assuming you've got the professions). Can net about 400g+ a run which doesn't take long at all...about 1-2 hours for my shammies (if I was to clear every mob then I guess it would go up to 500g-600g at the very least - I normally clear about 60% or so mob wise).

It's pretty easy to be fair but I do get a kick out of utterly wiping the floor with Drakki and the Beast (ah...nostalgia). Hmmm....I might try them both at once next time, make it a bit more sporting ;-)

all 10 daily quests give each 70 about 100g, so your 5 man would get 500g/day? and take about a hour?

and your saying that in 2 hours you can make 500g average on doing lbrs? what 5 man team are you running?

I do most of UBRS first and then drop down to LBRS normally just going straight to bosses and nailing any mobs I can't walk past. The important bit is to make sure you kill all the spiders in LBRS and get the Iron Spider Silk (or whatever it's called) as you can make better tailoring items to DE and get the Greater Eternal Essences (can go for up to 20g on my server).

With all the green/blue drops to DE, runecloth and rugged leather to make things for DE plus pots, recipes and trash drops then 400g is definately achievable. If you cleared absolutely everything everywhere in both UBRS and LBRS then I would imagine you would make a lot more but I've never done a complete clear.

I run with 5 elemental shammies and literally steam through the mobs. I've Leroy'd about a third of the Father Flame room just to see what would happen and the shammies survived which I found fun. Even Drakki is very easy which I guess isn't that surprising. Have been thinking about trying ZG just to see what that's like but haven't had the time recently. If I get time later in the week I'll report back.

I usually clear botanica in about 45 minutes. This leaves me 6 large briliant shards (25-35g each), lots of cloth and sunfury signets. Greys also sell for a fairly good price. My guess is that I would earn about 200-300g/hour this way. However I usually get bored very fast from mindless grinding, so I only grind for money when I really need them for something.

Another thing to keep in mind about the dailies is all of them except the "resource gathering" ones and the Apexis Emanation quest can be done as a group.

So you only have to gather 5 Aether Rays with all of your guys in tow to get 11.99g * 5.

Fast way to make money and you can easily push the 4/5 primary dailies (Skettis bombing, Skettis Escort (9g, and only if uncamped really), Aether Rays, Forge Camp Bombing, Banish Demons) in under 30m depending on how busy your server is.

If you do all 5 of the dailies while 5-boxing it's a bit over 285g. If you don't care about the annoyance of having to do the Apexis Emanation question 5 times, make it 330g but you can probably make 45g with easier methods if you're running 5 toons :)

Getting access to the Netherwing dailies and doing the non-heroic/heroic dailies as part of your 5-manning will increase the gold quite a bit.

Don't have experience at 70 multiboxing, but on all but my main of 5 70s I dinged 70 whilst still in Terrokar (rested and a few instance runs ftw). I still haven't got around to completing all of Netherstorm/SMV on those alts, so when I am in need of cash I just go on them for an hour or so and blaze thorough a few. Planning on doing the same on my multibox teams and hoping it'll net me enough for epic flyers on all.

If you don't care about the annoyance of having to do the Apexis Emanation question 5 times

Apexis shards you will have tons of, use the middle control and do the BIG simon says and the full group gets emanation for 1 game of simon, then you kill a big ugly at the end or run away. Takes 35 apexis shards I think, but on ONE character I have literally thousands laying about... you get like 10 per daily, so you could easily rotate that back and forth to minimize impact with a 5 box.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Large Brilliant Shards (DE From any level 60 boss drops) sell for 150g per stack of 20 on my server, I'd wager they are good on any server with raiding players... they are used in the best mana oils still.

Rather than doing the single person Apexis "simon says" 5 times, you can do the 5 man one and get credit for all toons at the same time, then kill the "boss" that spawns for phat loot. =)

Didn't know the big one gave credit for the emanations. My lvl 70 group is limited to 3 characters but I've done the bigger one before (I just run one toon between 2 colors).

So I'm currently lvling my 5 box team complety in outland instances.

Only quests I've done is in hellfire for the new gear set.
I'm 68, with 1lvl rested this weekend.

Once I hit 70 I'm doing quests from zangar + :)
We'll see if I can afford epics for all :)

Advantage is killing all the allies you run across while doing it.

@ 63/64 I turned out over 1500g today doing quests and running Strat dead & live 1x. This doesn't count selling the 400+ runecloth and 300+ netherweave I picked up while killing and slaughtering...

Thats a 4 man team not a 5...

Thats also disenchanting (and not selling) any of the mats above 61st level... I did put 20 large brilliants up on the AH but those haven't sold yet, so thats another 150g when they do go... oh, and 7 greater eternals @ another 10g each...
