So over the past few days, i started to farm the gold for the epicmounts, befor i jump over in the outland.
i run strat & scholo, to complete all the quests, also it was a nice experience, to clear these instances "solo"
this team had a lot of luck, i found total 4 epics and lots of blue items, so after 3 days of strat i had enough gold
to complete the paladin epicquest and buy two UD Epicmounts :)
yesterday i finished pushing enchanting & tailoring on the mage to 300, today i'll try to max out the mining skill of the paladin, so stay tuned!

Quite old PC, but the 3 instances of WoW run pretty well,
rockstable CPU overclocking ftw :D

The Team rests @ lvl 61 on the Hellfire Peninsula, i managed to clear ramparts to the end,
but the dragonboss bugged, so the dragon did not land --_--

i started leveling another team, because the RAF is still active:
Feraldruid - Restodruid - BMHunter
works very well, they are level 26 atm - i just finished SFK and BFT!

i did ramparts two times, the first one was with the gear out of the oldworld (most greens and some strat/scholo blues)
the best try at the dragon was 14% but i failed because my healer was oom.
after that i did some quests, to gear the team up, cleared ramparts again but the damn dragon bugged - he did not land...

I'm very impressed. You are doing with 3 what I did with 5... With the dragon boss, are you DPSing him down before you start the event? That's the only way I can do it. Maybe jut running 3 makes it easier to micromanage movement... Good luck in future endeavors! If you go for a third team, try a lock or two :)

Allrights folks,
the past days i leveld another team as mentioned above:

Feraldruid ("tank"), Restodruid ("heal") and a BM-Hunter ("dps")

Its an awesome setup, i have no downtimes -> 2x innervate ftw,
at level 15 i bought some water for the healer - i'm now lvl 56 and i have still 56/60 from the lvl 15 water xD

The DPS is incredible high, leader of the pack + beastmaster = zomfg o.O! around ~450 dps

today i cleared Scholomance (full incl. the summoned boss + cellar)
so the team is now lvl 60, too!
this team is so much fun, HoTs are nais for multiboxing purposes and the BM Hunter is a no-brainer :D

Outstanding work so far with your teams. I didn't know it was even possible to 3 man the old instances so that is great you are able to run them.

and i did the same instances - amazing isn't it?^^

Sorry for hijacking your thread but a few more questions since you seem like you were fairly succesful...
How did you manage money?
What was your method for leveling? Instance grinding?
Did you only use gear from instances? Quests?
How long did it take you?
Which instances did you run?

Did you have diffuclties with any instances?
Any other tips and tricks with 3 man boxing? (Addons, Setup)

How do you think my computer will fair with 3 wows running....
2gigs of ram, Dual Core Intel 6600, 2.4GHz
8800 GTX, Vista 32 bit
(Note:I ran 2 wows at medium settings at around 40fps on main, and 30fps on others)

The Hi-Jacking thing is no problem ;)

Money wasn't a big deal, the Paladin got Skinning + Mining and the Mage Tailoring+Enchanting.
The Palamount @lvl30 was for free and the auctions of copper+tin+leather were so successfull, that i had
enough money all the time. Also the disenchanted items bring you alot of profit (Greater Nether Essence = 20g / Piece!)
I leveled both teams from 0-14 in the starting zones, after that i only grinded instances:
14-18 -> Ragefire
18-24 -> Shadowfang Keep
24-27 -> Black Fathom
27-30 -> Razorfen
30-40 -> Scarlet Monastry (started in graveyard and so on)
40-42 -> Razorfen Hills
42-47 -> Zul'Farrak
47-51 -> Maraudon
51-57 -> BRD (<3 that instance)
57-60 -> Strat & Scholo (imho scholo is a bit easier)

On the second team i also did WC and Uldaman (nice leather drops here)

Of course i grab all the quests for the instances, which required no PreQuests...
the gear i used was only tailored or from instance-quests and bossdrops, i did not waste money in the AH!

/played was about ~2Days when i dinged 60, realtime playtime was about 1+1/2 Week

I had no difficulties, 99% of the bosses are tank+spank.
Jandice Barov (Cellar Boss Scholo) is a bit nasty, due to the fact, that you loose her target, when she created the clones -> a macro helps /target Jandice Barov

Other Tips - not really
just get it started and you will see, that it is not so complicated as it seems ;)

Your computer should be fine, mine is a bit slower and i had no problems running 3 WoWs (1 @ high settings and 2@medium settings)!

Addons&Setup?

I used Jamba + Recount + xPerl + SCTD (added the fix, that it displays the whole damage of the group - very nice)

Could you show us what macros you use for your pali and priest? I'm running the same kind of group and I'm having issues with my mage getting agro all the time - I think mainly because I'm not using conscerate at every cooldown b/c I don't want to break a sheep if there is a mob sheeped.

If yes, i can't imagine how you cant hold aggro against the mage, should not be a problem, if you use Seal of Righteousness (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=21084)...

If you want to sheep, sheep direct at the beginning of the pull, so that the sheep is at maxrange to your mage, just pull the other mobs a bit away from the sheep and start consecrating...
In the 0-60 instances i never sheeped, in ramparts only 2 oder 3 times, to avoid the mobs which drop the mortal strike debuff!

I didn't use castsequence macros, you can see my buttonlayout in this posting: dual-boxer, trying tri-boxing for the first time ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=185107#post185107')

The macros are very simple just /assist Maintank /cast [spellname]

I've been using the blessing of wisdom, because I've worried about my pali running out of mana. I guess the judgement of wisdom should be enough though (yes I am using righteous fury). My mage is spec'd arcane, so that I could get the most passive DPS build I could get and that toon is spec'd with the agro reducing talents. I've been able to clear to the dragon in ramparts (haven't downed the dragon yet, I'm trying the nuking strategy - I've only tried that once though) I'll give it a go w/ blessing of judgement and see how that works out. The largest problem in the ramps is when I have those caster pulls and trying to get out of thier LOS to get them to bunch up - that's part of the main reason I sheep. On those caster pulls my priest gets agro. I'll work it out though. Thanks for your advice!!

Yeah ramparts is really tough, especially if you don't have a full "outland" geared group.
it makes the whole thing a lot easier if your chars are good equipped!

A normal run without wipes last ~1 + 1/2 hours, at the beginning of a team
its normal if you need longer, you are missing some of the "core" talents and maybe your gear isn't so good.
You could also try to deal some dps with you healer, if mana and healing output aren't a problem!

Kelevra you rock, heck I did not know it was possible to clear all those with just 3 man, I just leveled outside of dungeons the whole time and I was leveling 4 at a time, 3 at first but then buckled down and got more accounts. So gratz on being able to do those places and clearing them with your Trio team's.

Finally got the ramps on Farm - it was just all a matter of learning the pulls and handling the agro. The reason I am sealing wisdom is that my priest is dics, so I can go pretty much non stop with seal/judge wisdom. The tricky part for me was with the dudes that throw you up in the air and directly going after the clothies. I save a taunt for that and keep it out of the rotation and easy. 1st boss was easy, just spank and tank - watch out for adds. The dragon boss was easy after I nuked the dragon before starting the event - and the run directly over to the dragon as soon as it lands and take it out. The demon boss was the toughest for me. But finally after reading some strats for that boss, I just spread out my toons to preven the aura from causing problems, and buffed shadow resistance (priest and pali) lots of throwing around in that fight too. Take out the demon adds asap, and save a taunt for being thrown around here too. I gained two levels and more deaths (and repairs than I can count) figuring this instance out.
I think my main problem was I didn't know how to do instances and I just jumped in feet first, it was painful - but so worth it when I finally downed every boss w/o wiping.

nice one, but keep in mind, that shadow protection from the priest and the paladins shadow aura not stack.
so you can switch the paladins aura to devotion or something else ;P

Yeah I was just reading up on resistances this morning and I came across the information that no resistance buff stacks - that's pretty crappy IMO. Pretty soon, Mark of the Wild and Blessing of Kings won't stack either because they are too similar.

Whoa, bad idea on BoW!!! Use blessing of sanctuary on your pally. It reduces all incoming damage by 3% and gives you mana when you block/dodge/parry. Even if you blessed kings instead of sanctuary on your paladin, you should pretty much never run out of mana. You get mana from all the incoming heals.

Always have seal of righteousness up. Pull with avengers shield, lay consecrate, and spam hammer of righteousness. I'd be interested to see what your talent spec is. Holding aggro with a pally is pretty darn easy.

If you play Pally+4ElementalShaman it may work, but 3-manning you do want a healer ;)!
