[Octopus] Stuck at mouse transfer between screens

I've been trying to set up Octopus on 2 different machines using the following tutorial:

I get down to step# 42 of General Broadcast Configuration:

42. Go to the “Status” tab on your main/server PC and you should see each of your alt PCs listed in there. Now, move your mouse off the left side of your main screen and you should see the cursor pick up on the right side of the PC to your left. If it worked, you should be able to zoom the mouse left across all of your other PCs and eventually end up back on the right side of your main PC. If this works, you're almost done!

And this doesn't work for me so I'm stuck. I know I'm close to success so I'm hoping someone here can help me get past this small hiccup.

I'm using Vista x64 on my main computer and XP on my slave computer. I should also add that I'm already using 2 screens on my main computer and that i've tried only using 1 screen and still not able to move my cursor to the slave screen.

Any ideas?

Did you set up the mouse sharing boundries?? That guide doesn't talk about setting up the mouse sharing boundries for each screen. That's in the server tab and then the mouse tab. You'll see there where you can set this up.
