Boosting xp from instances question

What kind of xp are you getting in general from 45 on in scholo/strat, etc? I was running 5 of my shaman last night in LBRS/UBRS with a friend was getting around 100-200 xp a kill on average.

If one of my toons was far enough away, I was getting 500+ a kill from mobs, mostly all from rested xp. The raid penatly being the rested xp. I am not using RAF atm, time ran out for my accounts while I was traveling in Dubai/Scotland just before LK launched.

If I remember correctly yeh get a really harsh exp penalty for being in a raid. yeh would be better off dropping one char and do it in a 5 man group.

you experienced just what I did last night while running Kara waiting for the guildies to get back from a soda run. I started 5box clearing some trash, while I waited, and the exp was pretty low, but easily tripled as soon as I got far enough away from the rest of the raid. It's simpler to level 5 in raid, but it will take 3x as long. so if you have more time, go for it, but I'd just level 4 at a time, then solo lvl the 5th, or start round robin alternating them every time you reset an instance.
