Ok, so now the fun starts. I've levelled up all of the teams that I want to level to 60 and still have over a month on my RAF to go, but I can't do any more. I've decided to get to work on my shaman team, but have already decided that as I have terrible equipment for now, I will be dropping my lead shaman, in favour of my Paladin for a lot of heroic action when I hit 80. By then, I can gear up, drag my lead shaman up with 4 hunters and then reunited them for pvp fun too.
The problem I have found is, setting up my keys so that both my Pally and Shaman work nicely together.
I have read up on Paladins as multibox tanks and come across a spammable macro for him:
#showtooltip Consecration
/startattack
/castrandom Consecration, Holy Shield, Hammer of Wrath, Exorcism
I slapped that onto key 1, with lightning bolt on my shamans. The Pally just rips through his mana using this and he can't seem to keep his aggro up, the targets always seem to want to play with my Shaman. I could throttle back on my lightning, but that kinda defeats the object.
Could anyone point me in the right direction here, please? I'm not a huge PvP fan, so PvE is going to be my main fun, the Paladin is here to stay .. or .. if I can't get this worked out, I may just level the 5 Shaman to 66 and then drop one of my DK in.
Thanks for the help in advance :D

Do you have Righteous Fury up? Which seal are you keeping up? Using any judgements?
This stuff will have a big impact on your pally maintaining aggro. These spells in the macro you found are kinda just incidental, and not the bread and butter for pallies.
I played Pali+Shamans in BC then switched to DK+Shamans, both are very viable, and loads of fun. As for the setup:
My setup runs basically like this:
Shamans
1. Castsequence Flame Shock, Lava Burst, Lightning Bolt (Trinkets, Elemental Mastery, and Blood Fury)
5. Thunderstorm
6. Chain Lightning
- Flame Shock (Earth Shock on modifier macro)
= Assist
Paladin
1. Spam Macro
/startattack
/cast Judgement (of the Wise, etc)
/cast Hammer of Wrath
2. Holy Shield
3. Hammer of the Righeous
4. Avenger's Shield
7. Consecration (modifier for Exorcism)
0. OH SHIT button. /use 13 /use 14 /cast bubble, /cancelaura - Important to be able to double click it to remove the effect, otherwise your shamans get eaten by whatever was hitting you.
Main thing is this: Keep Blessing of Sanctuary and Righteous Fury on you, this helps with mana and aggro immensely. Pull with Avenger's, Holy Shield and Consecrate when mobs get to you. After Consecrate drops, then you can start nuking with your shamans. Hammer when it's up and you should never have aggro problems or mana issues for that matter. Hope that helps.

On my Paladin I have on button 1
#showtooltip Divine Plea
/startattack
/use 13
/use 14
/castrandom Holy Shield, Divine Plea
You should have divine plea on cooldown at all times. I will tap a few times to open a fight and will hit it when ever the cooldowns are up.
Button 2
startattack
/castrandom Holy Shield, Hammer of the Righteous, Shield of Righteousness, Judgement of Wisdom, Hammer of Wrath, Exorcism, Consecration
I use Judgement of Wisdom vs. Light to keep my mana up. I keep judgement of wisdom on Shift 2 incase I want to spam just it
On my Shamans.
I do not have anything on button 1 but I am using multiple /click buttons similar to the ones talked about in the Shaman DPS thread somewhere in the macro's section. I basically spam fire blast, lava burst, Lightening, CL, exocism. another one of the /click buttons will have my trinkets and elemental mastery..
for aura's i use retribution I believe, with Seal of Wisdom and Blessing of Wisdom again mana seems to be my biggest issue.

I dunno what your other teams are like or if you have any DKS in the mix, but since you are still only level 60 I highly, highly recommend you go with DK + 4 shamans (or DK + mage + 3 shamans). You'll be much better off at 80 than with a pally tank, imo. My team is pally tank/mage/3 shamans, although I've stopped running heroics I cleared almost all of them (oculus didnt do) and now I'm leveling a deathknight, and IMO DKs are much better multiboxer tanks than paladins. Unless they announce a lot of tanking nerfs in 3.1 (not much so far) that will continue to be true as well.
And I don't say this lightly either, my pally is in 4/5 T7.5, full naxx25 epics and has over 4k achieve points, but once my DK hits 80 I probably will retire my paladin. The difference in mitigation and the dps difference between the two is night and day, especially as gear gets better.

I hate to say it but I am enjoying a DK tank alot more then with a pally.

Thanks for the info, all. It's been a huge help. Mana is no longer the massive issue that it was and I'm able to hold agro with ease, simple change of seal and judgement made a HUGE difference.
As to the DK tank advice, I am already working on a 5xDK team, they are sitting at 66 at the moment, When at 80, I will have the choice of Pally or DK and I have to go with what you have said, DK is much more fun and I will go there in the end. But, as Blizz like the change things up, it's nice to have both, just in case :D
Who would have known that dropping one shaman and replacing it with a paladin would change how I play so much, it's going to take a little while getting used to things again, but, the change is good.
Thanks all.
