Drive:\WoWFolder\WTF\Account\Accountname\SavedVari ables\macaroonprofiles.lua

Just copy that and load the profile you want.

The Macaroon "possess" bar doesn't have a dismount button, unfortunately.

What I've done is make the possess state bar 12 buttons long and stick the following macro into the 12th slot...

/script VehicleExit()

you could set up a keybind to do the same thing as well :D

Yup, I go to "bar edit mode", right click the bar and choose the "possess" checkbox (if I haven't already).
Left-click the bar until it hits the "posess state".
Then I /mac edit and left-click on my last button until it says "macro".
Right click: enter /script VehicleExit() (and give it a pretty picture icon)
Then I /mac bind (assuming i didn't already do this when I set this bar up to possess stuff) and set my keybindings.

Is Macaroon still working? I thought that since Maul disappeared a few months back that it's hit or miss and with each patch it gets more "miss" than hit?

Still working fine but who knows with the 3.1 patch... anyone tried it?

I've only got Oculus left for my regular instances and I'm dreading it because the macro setup seems complex. I'm so used to using the default bars and have never used macaroon before. I installed in recently and have tried to tinker with it, but it is really confusing to me.

Can some kind soul post step-by-step instructions on setting up a possession bar?

Also, does it replace the default possess bar, or does it work in addition to it?

If I keybind the number 1 to the first button in a macaroon possess bar, does it activate both that button and the first button in the default Blizzard vehicle bar?

Does the macaroon possess bar show on the screen at all times, or is it invisible until you enter a vehicle?

To add a possession bar:
right click on Macaroon icon and select Create Bar new bar will appear in "Normal" mode right click on the bar and tick the "possess" option left click on the bar and the bar will change to "Possession" mode right click on the bar and give it a button count of 12 drag the bar into position left click on the Macaroon icon to exit edit mode
your new possession bar replaces the default bar but one thing Macaroon doesn't do is to add/support the "Exit Vehicle" button

To add the Exit Vehicle macro, alt-click on the Macaroon icon to enter button editing mode and add the follow macro to button 12 on the new bar

/script VehicleExit()

I add the exit macro to button 12 to keep it separate from the possession buttons which, I think, are limited to the first 7 buttons?

I can't answer the keybinding query as I blank out all keybindings except movement in the WoW config and just use Macaroon for all my macro and keybinding requirements.

The possess bar will only be visible once you enter a vehicle.

I think that covers it :)

There is also an Exit Vehicle keybind in the core WoW keybindings which makes creating a pet bar macro unneeded unless you want to be able to click it. I've been using it since getting my first Tundra then finding out regular dismount did not work.

If you're ever stuck in a vehicle you can also try right clicking it to "Dismiss" it. Stuck meaning no keybinding and no exit vehicle button. ;)

Edit: I've got two toons copied over to the PTR now. I haven't installed the client yet but hope to in the next day or two and try out Macaroon there.

Lol, I've been typing /script PetDismiss(); into the console for months! Thanks for the info.

Ok now for some reason i cant just copy the profiles from my main account and paste them on the alt accounts so that i can just do the set ups once and pull them out on other accounts.

Copy the Macaroon files from the savedvariables folder on your main account to the same folder on your other accounts.

Can i say i had a nub moment lol. You need to be completely off wow for it to work. I closed them all just copied variable file deleted it on 4 other accounts pasted main to it then logged on and it all worked.
