View Full Version : Looking for a server: EU - PVE- Alliance - English - full

I've almost always played in a PVP server because of RL friends.. but I am really growing tired of gankers.. even if I manage to beat them (and they don't call a lot of their friends to camp me) I still hate losing time and having to always keep an eye open... so I am thinking of moving to another realm.
I am looking for an English speaking PVE EU realm, possibly full (I think that means it's easier to find things on the AH) and with some other multiboxer (on the Ally side) there, so that we can try some raid or BG together, from time to time.
I have looked the Who & Where page on the wiki (speaking of it, I think it could be helpful to add the type of each server, and its main language) but since I know it isn't very updated, I have checked each of those toons in the armory and each of those user in the forum to see if they are still active, and looks like Aggramar, with 2 active multiboxer, is the realm more fitting to my request.
Any other good realm with multiboxer out there?
Thanks!

I play on Runetotem (EU -English) and it's a PVE server. It's one of the oldest servers, and I'd think the server is pretty much full.
I've always played on Runetotem, we used to call it Dramatotem, but the drama seems to have mellowed a lot over the last few years.
I've very little experience with other servers, although I do have some characters (and a team) on Shadowsong (EU). I found that I'm very rarely approached about multiboxing on Runetotem, unlike Shadowsong where I was consistently whispered by people, making it difficult to get anywhere.
I know there is at least one more multiboxer on Runetotem,Ruodhaid, with his team, and I think there is one player on the horde side as well. Although I have no idea who that is.
Edit: I noticed that you're from Italy, and there's quite a few Italian guilds on Runetotem.

on Aggramar we used to have at least 8 multiboxers, but the majority left for PVP servers. i know of a couple of people that are looking to start Multiboxong on the server so we would be looking to run 10 mans initally and who know at a later date (maybe 25 man content).
I currently have 6 teams of 5 ranging from 60 to 70 and spend a couple of days in on each with frequient rotation, to get them all up to 70
the server community as a whole is quite tolerant of Multiboxers, I find it's rare to get any negative comments. (you occasionally get some negative comments, but that's the same on each server).
As for your AH inquiry, the place is quite well stocked and stuff has quite a high turn around.

Bronzebeard is the business. I haven't heard a peep of grief about multiboxing from 1-79 and in fact I've made a lot of friends just from chatting.
It's a nice, cool server that's been around a long time. You wouldn't want to roll Horde here (there ARE no Horde) but the battlegroup was good at 70 - haven't hit BGs since then so couldn't say what 80 is like for PVP.

My experience as alliance on Skullcrusher is nice.
Basically there are only hordes in outdoors world, so I have plenty of people to gank if I want to :) Probably because the server horde/alliance proportion is completely opposite than other server. there are mor horde on skullcrusher, or at least used to be that way.
The good thing is that in most cases people tend to do fair fights except for 3 guilds exactly. I tend to respect that and only kill on sight these 3 guilds members. The others are killed only if they attack first or they target my toons and don't run away after getting the first warning shot.
Other than that, this is one of the oldest WoW EU servers... was launched with beta. The server economy is relatively stable and people are not afraid of multiboxing. You will find now and then someone loling at you, but that's all. Practically no griefing.
Raiding guilds tend to be really elitist on this server, but that's nothing I could care much about.

Thank you all for your answers.
While we are at it.. Any known technical issues with the realms? Like lag / frequent disconnections / queues to log in ... ?
