Im all for defending our position on the wow forums, but is it nessisary to be rude to a player because he doesnt speak english well? Is it also nessisary to call him frenchie? His being french has no bearing on the point at hand.

I understand that he is now making derogitory remarks toward americans, but if you check first, you will see that he was slagged first.

It makes us look like narrow minded bigots and really doesnt help our cause.

The user is French Canadian, so his atrocious English is somewhat forgivable: he's at least making an effort to communicate in a common North American language. Many people fail to read beyond his bad spelling and grammar and flame him for being retarded/12/stupid/blind which, honestly, is a terrible failure on the reader's behalf.

That being said, the kid is bitching about something that has been declared legal and largely forgotten about by Blizzard. Besides, according to the story I read, he tried to gank whoever was there first and, when he was decimated by said player, attempted to gank with his 70. That failed miserably, apparently.

My question would be what kind of numbskull sees a group of people close to his level and goes, "I can kill all of them"? I wouldn't do that regardless of whether or not the person is MBing. 1 vs. 5 is suicide 95% of the time unless you are THE PvP god or you're facing blind eight year-old children with ADD and no hands that play while they're covered in bees. He asked to be ganked and camped and that's what happened; he should not get the oppurtunity to bitch about it.

I'm french canadian as well, as I see his post I can't help but think that is one of the main reason why maybe french canadian are seen the way they are when playing online game. I'm probably one of the few of us who consider now himself more as an english person than a french one, because I now live in an english city and speak english to anyone I know 99% of the time.

From what I saw it wasn't just the spelling/grammar, but things like

"omg OMG OMFFFFFGGG!!!" and
"LOL LOOOOOOOOL WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFF???!!!!!"

That kind of thing is unnecesary regardless of your native tongue.

I doubt outgoing VPN traffic will be allowed through your company's firewall. You could try the proxy idea, or use logmein.com. It tunnels through port 80.

Same with gotomypc, but that costs money.
