ok so im just starting out on a new server seeing how well 4 priests and a pali work .. when from behind me i get HACKER!!! ..... im like WTF turn around to be told i have been reported ...... ummmmm ok ..... then this is the /w convo that came after .... some people are soo ignorant :cursing:

You need to learn not to bite :) /cry then just go about your business. Not replying to people winds them up even more :)

Indeed, don't bite, that will feed their amusement and your anger.
Tell them that it's legal. If they persist, then ask them to 'please report' you 'just like the other 100 people before him'. 'Pretty please.'
If he really thinks it's illegal, he'll be confused. If he knows it's legal, he'll say he won't report you.
Then there's also other mindgames of course :) Be creative, have fun! Or just ignore him from the start and save yourself some time.

[edit] Oh and always stay nice, because if a GM reviews the conversation, your statements will be compared to what is allowed in WoW. Just point out nicely to dual-boxing.com/wiki if people don't understand what you're doing.

I think its a safe assumption if your gonna use a group of priests they're probably gonna be shadow, or is he gonna have 4 holy priests and heal bosses and players to death? fuck off back into your hole you little maggot

i did this in UO, way back when. an unknown character comes up to me, starts messing around and starts talking to me (an unusual event). i could tell by the typing he was younger (13ish)... which shrank the possibilities to one. after a minute or two i stopped and said 'wilbur, i'm a bit busy... i'll help you in a bit'. (yes, his main toon name was wilbur) this freaked him out a bit and he asked how i knew it was him (i guessed, obviously). "you know i'm a developer, don't you", "yea", "well, i saw the ip address and knew it was you" ... this freaked him out.

two days later, outside the abbey (whoa... long time ago), he and his groupies were there (they could kill me in a blink). he was saying how i was a developer and they shouldn't mess with me. one guy started mouthing off a bit. i typed 'oh really' and at that moment, i noticed his character made the tell-tale movement they make when they hit massive lag. i waited until he unfroze and said 'if you want me to crash your machine instead of just freezing you, keep messing around'. he was like "WTF?!?! HOW?!" ... and they all left.

or you could have 3 shadow and one disc. or three shadow and one holy. or all three shadow. or heck, the prot pally can tank on an instance, just have three priests be whatever they want and hit 4x renews. easy peasy. dont cookie cutter everything.
