Hello Everyone,

Let me start by saying thank you to the people who have taken the time to write guides, and make videos for multi-boxing. Without these I would not of had a clue.

ok, on to me. I have recently for the first time set up tri-box on one machine (3 Windows using keyclone). I have a Paladin as master, mage and Shaman as slave. I now have them all following me, and accepting groups and quests. I am currently target mobs, but tabbing on my main, then pressing T to target. I have the mage firebolt and shamans lightning on key 1, so when pressed they both cast at my mains target.

I am sure the above is not the best way to target a mob. It is also difficult in setting up similar abilities on the Mage and Shaman. I have read through all the guides, and still not sure of the best way forward. Any advise would be appreciated.

using the focus method you can set it up simply using the following:

bind the followng macro to "f" and assign to both the mage and shaman

/target insertnameofpaladinhere
/follow
/focus

now on your mage bind the following to key "1"

/cast [target=focustarget] Fireball

now on your shaman bind the following to key "1"

/cast [target=focustarget] Lightning bolt

press "f" to make your followers start following your main.
run up to a mob, tap the back key to stop your followers following your paladin
continue up to the mob and target with the paladin

now whatever you target with your paladin, by pressing "1" your followers will cast their spells at that target (no more alt tabbing)

take a look at the macro codex in the macros forum, as there are lots more examples and methods of doing this
