Tri-boxing shamans and currently they're level 25. I'm on a PvP server and grinding quests in Ashenvale when a 32 priest and 25 paladin jumps me.
I destroy them. Utterly. I would've ignored them if they just ran past, but as soon as that priest cast SW:Pain on me the gloves were off...
Any hoo, went to a different area to do another quest and an 80 paladin shows up and Avengers shields me. Then proceeds to camp me for over an hour. I gave up trying to run after the 3rd attempt. The priest and other paladin were there of course.
So I jump onto a friends account PM the dude. And of course the rambling starts and his GF is the priest and his little bro is the paladin. I did laugh at that. If they couldn't kill my 3 level 25s wearing greys and a couple greens while they were instance equipped... I did them a favor. Luckily servers were coming down for maintenance anyways.

There definatly were some awfull times at Isle of Quel'Danas. However, this woud only happen if i spend 2 hours right outside the FP/Hut with quartmaster in, oneshotting anything passin throu..
Ofcourse, there were other times, but no - doesnt really happen. I guess its non-issue at 80, but a larger issue at low levels.

Revenge will be sweet when you get your toons to 80. I'm keeping my list and I'm going to have a hell of a lot of fun returning the favors later on.

Try a server like Magtheridon. There are guilds there that will purposely move a full group or more of full epics-wearing players into the zone just to screw with the zerg. :P
Last time I got corpse camped, it was for burning down the redridge area (was combat testing my low level shamans). One of the lessons I learned than was that they can bring as many skulls as they want, but they still won't be able to prevent you from one-shotting their low levels :)

My 2nd and most likley last group of boxed chars hit 74 last night death knight,hunter,rogue,warlock,priest.. Was running around in grizzly hills when a 80 death knight with 30k hp came and dropped down on me! He managed to kill my priest wich dies in every pvp encounter i have anyway, most likley due to having 7k hp!
A 75 shadow priest tested his luck towards my group and sure had lots of fun beeing chain dispelled and smacked by a enraged cat and felguard + a undead ghould all wich are immune to fear. He jumped into his cloud and tried to run away just to be death griped right back.
This week I was running around in Nagrand with my level 65's and a level 80 to quest-boost them. I ran into an Alliance level 80 and since most of the level 80's in Nagrand are ganking corpse-campers, I didn't wait and killed him.
I then go away to continue questing to have this Alliance show up again with another level 80: a paladin. They kill my group pretty swiftly and then corpse-camp it.
Since they were corpse-camping, I took a minute to log into my own Alliance character and told them I was honored to have 2 people spending idle time to wait at my corpse just to be able to kill it again. Then they gave me some multibox QQ(the standard "it's illegal!") so I said "report me", which they refused (because they knew it was legal, obviously).
Then one of them said I killed his rogue once with my old shaman multibox team a while ago, so apparently he was pissed off because that. That person was really pissed off.
I thanked them for the entertainment, told him I'd be watching some series on the other screen while they were there, then logged off and went to bed. I wonder how long they corpse-camped me further, but something tells me they were pretty persistent.

Corpse camping is against the TOS. I don't wait for the 3rd run. If they are there when I get back from the second, I report 'em.

Against the TOS? Hmmm.....I'm sorry, but I hadn't heard that before. I have always thought corpse camping was deemed relatively okay since it could be considered a condition of playing on a pvp server.

Corpse camping is not against the ToS when playing on a pvp server, and if you get camped on a pve server well it's kind of your fault anyway :P
The only thing i have ever been warned about in regards to camping someone is is killing the quest guy they were trying to talk to just to keep them around long enough to kill them again. Of course this was me killing an 80 pally that had camped my 58 shamans numerous times right after they entered outlands.

Wrong. Corpse camping is always allowed, even on PvE servers:

Note that Blizzard Entertainment considers all valid play styles in World of Warcraft to be part of the game, and not harassment, so player-killing the enemies of your race and/or alliance, including gravestone and/or corpse camping, is considered a part of the game.

and if you get camped on our server the zerg will come to your defense and chew their faces off. it does help to have a group of lvl 80s. i normally park my shamans near where my lowbies are at just in case. add them to KoS (kill on site) and they are now a target of the entire guild.

He only camped you for an hour? I've had guilds camp me for 8 days straight 8 hours a day. They didn't get any honor kills either.

No need to apologize :)
The first time I was corpse-camped, I made a ticket too and the GM told me that it was allowed. So in your case it's just the GM's fault for not informing you through a whisper or an email.

Last night, in fact, my wife was corpse camped by 5 people when she was working on her 4 paladin/1 Priest group in STV last night. The campers were anywhere from 35 to 42, she was 38. So I logged into my 5 Paladins (level 60), and went to help her out.
Well needless to say 9 consecrates made them go down pretty quick. Then a skull level (to me) mage came......killed us.........then left. The original 5 were still camping, so I rezzed, killed them. We took off to continue her questing. We were then joined by a skull level (to me) Paladin. He figured I would be easy to take down, so he went after me (luckily the wife only lost one toon in that fight), but I ended up killing him without losing any of my guys. He was then joined by another skull level, this time a mage, where they both proceeded to kill my toons, as well as the wife's.
So it basically was a pissing contest. They better bring more than 2 when we get our groups to 80 :whistling:

I leveled mostly in instances in Azeroth so never got ganked from 1-60, in outland (was in tbc, 70 level cap) I was ganked a few times but never really corpsecamped until i was 64x4 in terokkar. 3 lvl 70's killed me and camped the spot. But funny thing was, I could always kill two, but then the third would eventually kill me.
After 4 or so times the third was apparantly gone, but the other two were there still and I camped those two back for about 5 times myself. =P
That was the only time I've been really corpsecamped as a multibox.
Sometimes some people tried solo but failed. Or people at summoning stones when alliance outnumbered me, but those cases are almost always one person hoping the rest will follow suit, which almost never happens straight away so they usually fail as well. :>

In the immortal words of Ron White, "I don't know how many it would have taken to kick my ass, but I knew how many they were going to use."
There's an alliance guild on Bonechewer that I think doesn't like me (Section Eight). Every time I kill one (usually to help out a lowbie or a single 80 they just ganked), about 10 of them show up. My group, along with an 80 hunter, and an 80 mage were camped by them at the saronite slave area for probably an hour by about 10 of them from that guild. Now, since then I've gotten vanasKOS, so my screen usually looks like a christmas tree when anyone from that guild is near :p If it's one of them, I'll usually one shot them and haul ass (because I know they will be coming in force soon).

If 10 people would take the effort and time to corpse-camp me, I would be honored and I would also chuckle. Boring 10 people to death while doing some other stuff on my other screen = WIN!

Pre BC my 5 man group got steamrolled by 80's. They are not too hard to spot with their 18k+hp. Outlands was the suck as the NPC guards and stuff are like level 57 and wont even agro most of the time so the Horde can just come right into Honor Hold and put the smack down. It wasnt till level 64 before I managed to kill my first level 80 griefer. Now at level 68. I have yet to loose a fight against a lone 80. Two or more is pretty iffy unless I get the drop on them.
The other night I was in Nagrand doing the ring of blood quests. There was an alliance guy there watching me multi-box it and some 80 horde DK flys in and kills him. 12 seconds later and the griefer is dead. At that point I got camped for about an hour by 4 level 80's. I just read a book and hit space bar when the afk flag showed up. I figure its worth it to get 4 people to waste their time. Me killing them is more of an acomplishment than they will get killing a fresh rezed toon 12 levels lower than they are.
Im looking forward to 80. I will be a steam rolling machine. Only a paladin who bubble hearths will survive.

Usually in high gankage areas such as STV i ALWAYS keep my 80s close by and ready for a corpse camper.

80 palla was camping my dk team while i was afk.
Came back and stomped his face in..
dose that count :P
How do you know it was a multiboxing hater that camped you? Did they tell you that they're targetting you because you're multiboxing? Seems that most of the posts here show that its more a case of you killed me / my friend, so now I'm going to camp you.

To get corpsecamped is honorable, if ppl are so mad at me... hehe.
I´ve been that couple of times, in hellfire peninsula, on a pve server. I use same tactics as mentioned before, use my epic lvl 80 warlock, stationed nearby, then relog and burn the gankers back to stoneage, then give them same treatment, lol.

Can't believe everyone was debating the legality of Corpse Camping after reading this line.... Corpse Camping might be 'working as intended' but Account Sharring IS against the TOS. Slow posters are slow on Monday.

How is that possible? I don't believe any of these corpse camping horror stories. In 3 years on PVP servers I've never had a group so big and so determined that I couldn't rez 30 yards away a few times and hearth, and go to another zone.
It's like that guy boxing druids who said he was camped for 4 days solid by one guy in Gadgetzan. I have trouble believing there was absolutely nowhere to rez and hearth and run from one guy. I mean last night I managed to rez the 4 in Ironforge with about 40 alliance in the vicinity and was able to hearth back.
Pre BC my 5 man group got steamrolled by 80's.
kek.
For a long time I used to think it was a bot running like Glider and thats why I ganked Multi Boxers... I figured out pretty quick gank the lead dog and the rest go down a lot easier =P
I was only pissed b/c I thought it was a bot free game and didn't want it turning into D2 (which I botted the hell out of  )
Nothing against it now that I know they are manually controlled.. its just a talented Multitasker behind the scenes

Ive gotten myself camped many a times, but i guess killing the level 80's summoning at the stone in coldarra or going after the malygos raid is prolly not the best idea ><.
But now that im 80, and starting to get pvp gear.. they can friggen bring it.

I had 5 of my shamans camped in Zul Drak at lvl 60 grabbing flight paths. This one guy kept killing one of my shamans before the guards would wtfpwn him. And I kept rezzing my guy w/ one of my other shamans and laughing.
He must have died like 20 times before he realized he had to repair lol.
But no, I haven't been camped for hours and I tend to avoid those. I've learned that one of the pros of having multiple accounts is the ability to not have to rely on just one character to have fun. If i get ganked and I see that guy flying above after I get back from the bathroom, I log on one of my other characters and do some dailies. There's nothing funnier than knowing some moron is trying to corpse camp a guy who's not even playing.
I once killed an 80 DK (sorry player) while dual boxing a 73 druid and dk in grizzly hills, then promptly flied to dragonblight to finish some other quests there. I can just imagine that guy spending an hour trying to find my guys who are already in a different zone. I feel like I "win" more by getting my kill and leaving/logging, than to try to one-up some guy who's going to bring as many 80s as he needs to "beat" you anyway.
