Hey,
Have been thinking about this for a while - basically, "What is potentially the best way to set up 6 accounts so I can achieve the most number of valid combinations possible" - and I think I may have a solution which is close-ish. Would really appreciate your thoughts on the following (classes listed in no particular order):
Account 1 - MTs
Guardian
Bezerker
Paladin
Shadow Knight
So basically have 1 of all the heavy tanks available in the game
Account 2 - MHs
Mystic
Defiler
Warden
Each of these healers can do a fine job of being MH
Account 3 - OHs
Templar
Inquisitor
Fury
Again, all strong OHs
Only issue with having the fury and warden split across the 2nd and 3rd account is I am unable to play say a fury with an inquisitor, etc.
Account 4 - DPS1
Troubador
Swashbuckler
Brigand
Placing the melee classes with the spell-caster friendly troubador as there's a good chance they won't be in the same group
Account 5 - DPS2/Utility
Dirge
Mage
Warlock
Same reason as above, melee friendly dirge with the spell-casters
Account 6 - DPS3/CC
Illusionist
Coercer
Necromancer
Conjuror
This is probably the hardest account to figure out. I have placed the necro and conj here which potentially gives me a DPS grouping consisting of say a lock / troub / necro - but I can never have CC (which I am assuming won't be needed in a DPSing / AOE group)
4 classes have been ignored, namely:
- Brawlers [Monk and Bruiser] as they are better suited to OTs
- Predators [Assassin and Ranger] - shocking to multi-box...s h o c k i n g - d o n o t d o i t - the mixture of attacks from stealth and range requirements is honestly hard to manage via boxing (yes, I do actually box an assn when I want my eyeballs to bleed)
To maybe provide a few options, a fury could be added to the 2nd account and a warden to the third. Could also split the necro and conj across the 2 bard accounts. Having the 4 characters per account may make leveling up easier (i.e., 4 full groups whilst leveling) without having to worry about mentoring.
The beauty of only having the 4 characters per account means I have a lot of free spaces should I wish to try say a 3 'lock grouping or some of the more odd-ball type combinations. Also, plenty of space if I ever want to try having an OT.
Any thoughts?
