New 3.1 patch notes are up. Auras are gone. You get the effect for yourself sure, but nothing for others. Of course I might be reading it wrong.
Blood Aura: Replaced with Improved Blood Presence. This allows the deathknight to keep the healing from damage done bonus of Blood Presence in any presence, and increases healing received while in Blood Presence.
I really liked and might have relied on the extra healing from my other blood DK's aura. I feel like I have to just quest now to 80 and then park them. /cry

holy shite I hope that they still stack.... although it does increase healing you receive, so maybe the stacking loss is not a big deal. Or I could be wrong, lol. I'm trying to come up with a good talent choice and it seems deep blood will be pretty nice now with free Death Coils. Thank God my group runs with a healer =/

Yeah, this'll come hard to dk-boxers. But in truth it was an expected nerf. :p

Honestly did anyone think this was going to stay? This was ridiculously overpowered, you can't possibly have believed stacking blood aura would stick around for more than a patch or two. If anyone leveled DKs thinking this would be their strategy (stacking auras) they didn't think for a minute...

No I, and I'm sure most, saw it coming. Doesnt mean I like it. I guess I will work on farming as many emblems as I can before nerf... just in case I am unable to do as many bosses as I could before.

From a boxing standpoint it sucks that Im losing my aura.... as far as a solo DK is concerned though I think they definitely make the presences more interesting. They did a similar thing to the paladin auras if anybody read those notes as well. You can gain the "improved" effect of an aura if you talent it even if youre not using that aura.
I wonder if the +10% healing received from improved blood presence will stack wtih the +6% healing received from improved devotion aura... probably not =\

Hmm I dont remember if the paladin one is +healing for the whole group or just paladin. If it is I bet they do stack. Also notice they increased the healing from blood worms... "things that make you go, hmm"

Paladin improved devotion aura says "increases armor granted by devotion aura by 50% and increases the amount healed on any target affected by any of your auras by 6%".

Ya I'm betting they stack, since one is self only and the other group. However I know for a fact that tree aura and paly aura dont stack, but those are both group buffs.

Its a new talent change (blood presence increases healing done to you by 10%) so we cant really say whether they previously stacked because... its new.

notice it says nothing about giving your group(or raid) within 40 yards the ability to heal 4% of the damage they deal... that is pretty much the reason we think it no longer stacks.
