Keyclone and Octopus. Info needed.

Greetings,

So I decided to take WoW to the next level and try dual-boxing :D

Been doing research, and now I am planning to do "one pc - two client" dual-boxing. After some digging up, Keyclone and Octopus seem to be two programs I want. Haven't found this info but does Keyclone support mouse broadcasting? I know Octopus supports it but the site isn't loading, is Octopus project dead? Last post concerning Octopus dates to last years June.

I think Octopus was re-coded into a new program. Keyclone is keys only, no mouse broadcasting.

Do you know whats the new Octopus name? Or another tool that broadcasts both mouse and keyboard?

keyclone does send mouse clicks to each wow, if you want it. just set the 'mouse-click-passing' hotkey to toggle it on and off

Is it only mouse key clicks or mouse movement as well?

mouse clicks. mouse movement, where you hold the button down and drag, is not possible (without some serious playing around that would probably cross the line)

I have been using octopus for 3 months to multibox, I do not have any issue with it, It can key and mouse broadcast, plus it is freeware.

ok i am new to this so when i download it it says unzip where do i unzip it to please reply asap or pm me do i unzip to a new folder or what its a stupid thing but i am cunfused

note: if you are on vista, you must right-click/run-as-admin the installation to set the folder permissions properly

by default, there is a path already defined... c:\program files\keyclone. hitting 'unzip' will unzip the contents into that folder.

once completed, locate the folder, find the keyclone application (it has an ice cube logo)... right-click/send-to/desktop will drop a short on the desktop.

if you are on vista, find the shortcut, right-click/properties/advanced/always-run-as-admin

after that, just double click the short cut to run it.
