Ok, first off,if the guy bought gold he's a total idiot and deserves whatever, and I don't really care one way or another, but the GM's comment made me curious:

Hmm. I wonder; should boxers avoid sending money through mail? or is it just avoid sending money to people you have no connection (guild, account, or friends-list ) with? cause I've sent "large" amounts of gold over mail to friends before for random things. (loans mostly. in the 'hey man, can you loan me money for a mount i'll pay you back' sense, which presumably isnt against TOS.) Never had a flag come up, so wondering what kinda frequency that guy was involved in hehe. Makes me wonder if i should have been more circumspect. (I pointedly remember loaning somone cash for an epic flyer and sending them 1k or so from each of my 5 chars, to be funny). Hmm.

oh well, anyway, I'm sure that this wasnt the case there, mind you, just kinda thinking that maybe I shouldn't do that in the future...lol.

I got my friend banned ('http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=15443307791&sid=1'). What a thread title. I laughed when the GM said the ban wasn't for buying gold. Of course now they can pin that on the friend also. :P
