Hello!
I remember a long time ago back in 2007 when I multi-boxed there was a glitch.. using Dual View would cut your FPS in half, so you had to use one whole desktop on two monitors. Is that changed?
I currently use x64 bit Vista, and have two monitors. It never gave me the option as to what to put them in, but I'm assuming they're in dual-view mode right now.
Thanks in advance!

The issue you describe was an XP issue. It is not present in Vista.

And I doubt it's going away too soon seeing as it's been there for years...

The issue described is indeed a windows XP and earlier defect fixed under XP by video drivers and not present at all under Vista - assuming you are talking about 1 video card with dual video ports on it.
If you have two video cards the problem still exists under Vista and there is no solution for it. I don't believe the two video card issue was even fixable with driver settings but I haven't had personal experience with it under XP or earlier.

Tried it with one or two. Actually you have access to display modes in XP that provide a sort-of workaround which are absent in Vista. OTOH Vista is less consistent about doing it in the first place.
