Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Firstly another thanks to the overwhelming support available at this website. It has made my multiboxing days much more enjoyable.

My current issue is rather simple, and more of a aesthetic one: I recently purchased and am in love with my X-keys professional. However, I would like some actual wow
macro icons to put onto the keys to make it a bit more user friendly.

I know I've seen a member with his own custom set of key tops before. Is there any chance of advice, or what not? I did a cursory search online and found some but were not able to print them.

I'm just curious what other people do? If it's as simple as scribbling on paper "fireball" and inserting it, or if people go to such detail as taking professional carbboard type paper etcetc.

Thanks in advance, any advice welcome.

Greetings

I use the template at the bottom http://www.xkeys.com/xkeys/xkpro.php and good old fashion MS paint
I load up all my hotbars with the skills Icons and take a screen save and using MS paint cut and paste resize to the templates and print out
my brother also uses the template but he prints his sheet out on photo paper.

The template makes it real easy to make the icons at the right Size.
Hopes that answer some of your questions

:D

They're just .5 inch by .5 inch pieces of paper underneath the key caps.

Not sure if you've seen this, but here's a list of icon images from wowwiki: http://www.wowwiki.com/WoWWiki:WoW_Icons/Icon_List/Images

Just fit them into the template and your good to go.

Just fit them into the template and your good to go.I copied and pasted these images into a basic text program(MS Word, Openoffice, and the like) and printed. They come out almost the exact correct size for keycaps. Trim a bit off the edges and they are perfect.

I think every game has ICONs in their user interface folder somewhere. If you don't play WoW and don't have access to ICON's for specific games already....look around the UI folder for your game. I know for Everquest, any ICON I use is in the game folder ...somewhere. Once I find them, I copy and paste to an easy access folder. Download the Xkeys legend at P.I. engineering, open that up with MS word, then just with MS paint I cut and copy which ever ICON I want, resizing if needed to fit on the XKeys legend.
