So, I always thought my first opportunity to box 25-man content was going to be VoA... Well last night I got the chance to multibox in Naxx-25. When I first started with the group I was the main tank on my pally. People started leaving later on due to how late it was getting and we started to get a lot of spots opening up. After downing Heigan I considered the fact we were carrying 5 tanks (we started w/ 4 and then a guild mate showed up and since we had not one else to fill in we took him anyways) and Loatheb only requires 1. I decided to step down from my throne as the main tank and switched to bring in my hunter, lock and my mage. I would have brought my priest to help heal, but she already cleared Naxx-25 in another group this week. At any rate, while I was busy building my macros for the fight, I inadvertently sent in my fel guard on my lock Leroy Jenkins style and caused a wipe because we weren't ready yet and a few people were locked out of the room. I offered to pay anyones repair bill... only 1 guy took me up on the offer. Second attempt we failed only because the main tank was not holding enough aggro to account for the double crits and so DPS had to slow down. For future reference, don't let a death knight be MT on that fight if you can avoid it. Third attempt, we switched to one of the other pally tanks as the main tank and we took him down like clockwork. I was thrilled to be #2 and #9 on the DPS meters. #9 was my lock who truly is undergeared for 25 man content. My mage did horrible because her spec depends upon using the insta-cast pyroblast proc, which I wasn't doing. I think I need to respec her arcane.

don't let a death knight be MT on that fight if you can avoid it.Um... why?
ANY Tank should have a threat lead on this fight in the 100's of thousands. Why? Because everyone doing their job has the debuff to get 50% more on their crit and generates ZERO THREAT. If a player outthreats the tank on Loatheb they are a genuine idiot.
Fungal Creep ('http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=29232'): This is a beneficial "debuff" on players gained during the encounter. Critical chance increased by 50%. Spells and abilities cause no threat. 120 secs duration. Loatheb summons spores approximately every 30 secs. Killing the spore (which has very low HP) allows five people within 10 yards to recieve this buff.

That really sounds like more of an issue with that particular DK than with DKs as a whole.

I think the problem was more related to people being stupid about the spores and not allowing one to land on the tank.

It's not that bad if you're getting hit with one later on in the fight cause you would have a huge lead on threat, but definitly avoid getting hit early. This is probably one of the easiest fights to tank in Naxx.
