New Team to box with my Wife

Hi Everyone.



I have played a Prot Pally to 80 to play with my wife, shes 4 boxing shamans. At this point we decided to into 10 boxing aka 2 x 5boxing.

She added another shaman to her team and i started a new team.

I decided to play my Pally as Main and added a druid (DD), Priest (Healer), and 2 Mages. I used RAF Boosting and the team is now 55.

But im unsure how to skill the mages. Shall i use one Fire and one frost? And which skills i shuld use? i habe never played a mage before

and as im boosting right now i dont know their spells.

frost mages do their dps when they freeze a mob and spam frostbolt + icelance in comination.
Very nice but you need to be tough to watch if the mob is frozen or not and the frost debuff can
break due to other damage on the mob.

So I'd suggest fire. Use scorch at the beginning to get the fire dmg buff on the mob (there is a glyph that it will
stack two times with only one scorch) and then start spamming firebolts and fireblasts. This should give you more
DPS than frostmages.

(correct me if I'm wrong, I've stopped playing my mage when WOTLK was released)

for aoe: dragonbreath and blastwave are very sweet.

Nice to see another husband-wife multiboxing team.

My wife is working on her 3rd group of 5 during her RAF. She has a mage/priest team, all hunters, and now working on all paladins.

To be honest, we're not sure which we're going to take up to 80 first.

If your wife has the shamans, I'd say maybe a more up front team like paladins or hunters would be a good team for you. Your wife can be the healer, and you can just deal out the pure damage. ?(

Hi,

my wife already has 4 Ele-Shammys and just added another Fighter Shammy (cant remeber the english word für Verstärker).

I want to play a team i can do heroics on my own if i want, that why i choose this team. i lloked at the frost tree and it looks great

but i think it will be hard to play as you always have to keep up some dots and specials, thats why i will go fire on both.

My priest and 4 mage group were all speced arcane. Very easy to set up uber burst dps, sustained dps etc.
