ok i have read up and it seems you can use 2 keyboards and wow will recognize them as different entities and it wont confuse pressing the for instance g key on board one vs. pressing the g key on board 2.

Is this ture? - does it have to be a specific keyboard?

or would it be more worth my while to buy those hand sized key board things that have like what looks like 20 ish keys on them??

BTW im using a laptop atm but i prefer to connect a regular keyboard when ever i can. <i cant live with out my number pad =]> all of my key binds for spells are on the number pad, but in light of starting up 4 shams im thinking assigning 1 key per spell per shaman would be more effective then having 1 master bar to control them all for lvling. i plan on 4 sham healing at lvl 80 with them. i have a key layout set up allready made for my main keyboard for them. f1-12, keys 1-0 pluss the -=[]' keys on teh top of the board to target each of the players in a 25 man group then have all my letter keys assigned to the different healing spells each key deisgned with a picture on for easier locating of spell. so with 4 shams like q,w,a,s = chain heals one for each and the same for all other spells for healing. some of them will be on the num pad. and all the basic totem spells/follow/focus will be divided between the page up/down home/end/instert keys and some num pads

Individual totems spells are on the z to . keys as you can see i ran out of keys =]
Also i have a problem staying on focus so i read threw this and tryed to make it understandable to my delema, what keyboard can i get to use for more key >.> how do i connect it properly to be read as a second object. sorry lol

if it turns out to be to much of a hassle ima switch to just 3 shamans making a larger abundance of keys and prob solving the problem of not haveing enough keys

From what I've experienced, the keyboards will not be recognized separately. (On one computer, I've read that hotkeynet can do something along the lines of what you want, but uses more than one computer)

As for a numeric keypad... I did a quick search on newegg.

Thanks, I actualy within the past few hours of posting my original thread <that prob made very little sence> i have got my hand on my old computer that i lent to me grandparents for email uses. They never used the dam thing so they told me to take it, they want to make room for a checkers table! lol

But anyways, im going to do some research as to connecting multiple computers now. As you said it cant be done unless there is more than 1 computer. So I guess this is where ill get my second keyboard tossed into play. And since it wont recognize multiple keyboards as different items, I saw in a thread that someone turned a keyboard into a foot board with most of the keys pulled out and several door knobs turned into keys for steping on just like those X-key foot pedels but home made for under $10.

Ill just do something like that but make sure not to use the same keys on my real keyboard and on my footboard that ill make. That should at least organize my layout by a significant amount! along with the second keyboard that will come from my second computer im setting up =]

^^

Thanks for the help.

Yep, the current version of HotkeyNet can do this if you have more than one PC. You connect the PCs with a network and use both keyboards. You load a different HotkeyNet script on each PC.

Recently I started adding new code to HotkeyNet so it can do this with a single computer, like Coca Cola Injection described in the original post. This new code is about half finished. I think it will work but I won't know for sure until I get more of it written.
