Firenova totem in PvP, and Flametongue talents vs crit talents

Hi Guys,

Just wondering how should I best use firenova totem in PvP?
On roundrobin for chain stun? Or all at once for a 2 second stun and bigger burst?

Also, I notice some successful PvP boxers (Aelli / Sanza) take Elemental Weapons to increase flametongue weapon, over the crit % from Thundering strikes (as in not maxing it out), why is this? I would have thought another 3-5% crit would be better than the 60 spell power or so that elemental weapons gives?

more spellpower = higher crits ==> higher burst with 1 cast

i use just 3 nova totems to burst

3 aoe totems-> stunn ->burst with wrath totem, otherwise you would loose a global cd while burst ... :/

Your main PVP spell *always* crits ;)

3.0.8 made critting a lot more valuable to elemental shaman.. due to the additional effect in the Elemental Oath talent. So currently I'm going with all +crit talents.
