What keys do you have your X-keys bound to?

I've been looking to rebind the keys on my X-keys pro, only I'm not sure what I want to have it bound to. I'm just confused, since I want to use some of the keys for my FTL setup.

I'd just like to get some insight on how other people bind their keypads.

Since I dont use FTL, I was planning to bind my X-Keys Pro to ctrl+shift+various keys, since i use alt+shift to change between international keyboard languages.

I have an X-Keys Pro (58 key), two X-Keys Desktops (20 key) and two foot pedals (3 keys each) to control my quintuplets. I experimented for a while and ended up finding the best configuration involved interfacing them with HKN. I use the 'UseKeyAsModifier' command to turn my F6 to F12 keys into key modifiers (similar to CTRL, ALT and SHIFT). I then section the X-Keys into groupings and assign each key to a function key and number (eg. F6 1, F6 2, F6 3 etc). Then I use HKN to convert these to key presses that each wow client will recognize.

I know this sounds complicated but I found this way avoided a lot of issues by minimizing modifier keys that wow will actually recognize. It also enables me to reuse alot of keys as they are processed for each client, rather then each client receiving every key press from the X-Keys (I may bind F6 1 to send key 1 to my primary account, and F6 2 to also send key 1 but only to my slave accounts). Basically this means less use of multiple modifier keys in wow which from experience I've found to be a good thing.

Oh, and I don't use an FTL setup, I use a hierarchical sticky targeting system that's mostly macro based.

Meh, rather than fight with my binds I just erased my entire X-keys, to be bound when I find the need.

I use a party leader assist method, not FTL, but for me, the G-Keys which are essentially the same thing, are bound to obscure keystroke combinations which I'm unlikely to accidently press in game.
But the keystrokes are for keyclone region swap hotkeys which simultaneously press wow macro's.

G13 is toon 1 swap, G14 is toon 2 swap, etc.
A G-key is follow current leader with the Jamba addon.

G-keys are combination of totem stomping macro's.
G1 is more of a pvp macro (cast sequence, four presses for each shammy to drop 4 totems).
G2 is more of a pve totem drop sequence.

Basically look for whatever is tedious and use your hotkeys to make them less so.

It's awfull when for example you have CTRL+F11 binded and for some reason, let's say a decurse he can't do it so it goes directly to the F11 binding :/.
So I tend to map everything with all letters and non modified keyboard presses.
Any way to go around this problem? Doind CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F11 would do the same thing?

I use FTL and have an Xkeys desktop but USB version; I couldn't get key modifers to work, ie shift-a so I use my number pad keys as the bind.

Ie, a key on my Xkeys will bind to the #8 key on the number pad. I mainly use my xkeys for pvp keys - like totem macros, accept, specific heals.

I use my 1-5 keys for combat (lightning, shocks, ect) and F 1 through 3 keys for healing (healing wave, lesser healing, chain) and the minus key (for right on the number pad) to have everyone target themselves and cast lesser healing wave.

But I'm still fairly new to this so it's a work in progress for me.
