So my RAF finished yesterday and I was able to get a few teams to 60. I don't know how successful I've been after all's said & done with RAF, but with job & kids, here's what I've got :
--------------TEAM 1-------TEAM 2-------TEAM 3-----TEAM 4--------TEAM #5
Account A:----70 pally----60 priest----60 mage----60 shaman----60 druid
Account B:----70 priest---60 priest----60 mage----60 shaman----60 druid
Account C:----70 mage-----60 priest----60 mage----60 shaman----60 druid
Account D:----70 mage-----60 priest----60 mage----60 shaman----45 druid
Account E:----70 mage-----60 priest----36 mage----34 shaman----45 druid
Now that I'm completely worn out boosting, I've come to a few sobering realizations:
- i'm gonna need 30,000+ gold to buy 1-60 skills and epic ground mounts for 20 toons ... guh !!! (i've got about 1,250 total now ... ) ;(
- i've got to figure out how to gear them (buy? quest?)
- i've got no clue on the best way to catch up the lost toons on team #3-5 to get to 60
- i have no clue how to spec or play a shaman or druid
- trade skills? uh ... no.
That being said, my first taste of shamans & druids is so good! I've only ever played a priest/mage & pally, and am a n00b with playing other classes ... i love druid stealthiness + boomkin spells, and the whole stacking totem idea for shamans (and lava burst??) !!! LOL - so awesome!!
My plan now is to get my 70 team to 80, figure out how to make $$, and running heroics / 10 mans with emis (i still owe u for those bags =), and worry about what to do with the rest later.
Does anyone have a good multiboxing shaman and druid specs? It would also be nice to hear what others have done after RAF ...

Well, I have no kids, and a very understanding (WoW-playing) girlfriend, and you kicked my ass RAF-wise. Nice work! I love seeing how many 60s people are able to crank out with this program. I kind of want to dump some money into another round of RAF for myself.

What ?!?! No 5x Death Knights under RAF? :)
Seriously, that's pretty impressive.
I think your plan to get the pally/priest/3 mages to 80 is a good one. I've leveled two teams up to 80 and if you think you have RAF burnout, watch out for Northrend. It is very, very slow and quite painful to level to 80 after RAF to 60 and the nerfed trip to 70 where you can skip essentially all Outland collection quests. Skipping Northrend collection quests is not nearly as practical as many of them unlock important chains. Trying to get all of those teams to 80 puts you at a major burnout risk IMO.
The pally/priest/3 mage team will also be good synergy with my DK/4 shammies if we want to do 10-man Naxx. :-) I will likely have one of my Boomkins decently geared by the time to get anyone to 80 and will bring them for the improved fairie fire + Drood buffs.
Money will take of itself once you get to 80s with dailies. Making money is very simple and I don't believe there's a more efficient way for a boxer (unless you're one of the auction house entrepreneurs) to make gold than running the Icecrown dailies. Between Shadow Vault, Death's Rise, and the Alliance/Horde airship, there's about 10 or so that are extremely MB friendly, get you close to 200g per toon or 1000g, and which can be done in well under an hour with epic mounts. Little bit longer, but not much, for non-epic mounts.

Nice job with all the groups. I know what you mean by the costs of all the toons. It's kind of crazy to think how much money I've spent so far, but thankfully my DK's made a lot of money questing, and that supplied quite a bit.
I thought about it and I just stopped the toons at 60 until my RAF is up. There's really no point in wasting the time past 60 if you have RAF left. As far as gear, I'd just go from questing for now. It helps save a lot of money, and with 5 toons, the cost savings are pretty big.

What I would do if I were you is figure out which team you want to be your main one and level that one to 80. Do dailies every day and it adds up. The others can sit for a while. Then once you are settled in a bit at 80 start with another team. Not sure what to tell you about those lowbies you have mixed in there. That is going to be a PITA.
You would be wise to level trade skills at least on the main team. Mining and herbs on each other 'main' and skinning on at least one on each team.
Deathknights were mentioned. maybe you could drop the lowbies and put a death knight in there. Would be a weird placement unless you make it the main on the team. Melee as an alt isn't feasible if the rest of the team are casters.

For the shaman team I'd definatly go dk+4x shamans.
4x or 5x shamans for pvp doesn't make the world of difference, in pve however dk+4 shammies > 5x shammies by quite a bit.

Actually 40, but who's counting?
I actually have 2 groups of hunters. But one is getting deleted, as they're on my other 5 accounts.

I don't know how successful I've been after all's said & done with RAF,I'd count that as PRETTY DAMNED SUCCESSFUL! o.O
gratz :)
As for cash... quest quest quest, and then quest some more. Also, whichever characters you plan to level to max first, have them take gathering skills and max them as soon as you can. And have one of them skill up enchanting as well, at least to... 325 I think it is, to DE level 70-80 items. Auctioning gathering/enchanting mats are still a good moneymaker. Enchanting mats are the best because there's no cost to list them. So you don't need to worry about undercutting people or being undercut. Set your price, and if it doesn't sell, just re-list.
But mostly you want to run quests and save up the cash. With your 70s, you can also run the Sunwell dailies until your eyes bleed. Not as much cash if your accounts have WotLK, but you'll be getting exp along with the gold, and more levels makes the dailies that much easier. Or just go straight to Northrend and start raking in the quest cash (and getting greens to DE for more money). It's a bit of a grind, but it's a grind that you can manage and which produces relatively predictable results (at least the dailies do, anyway). I'm looking at needing around 28,000 gold to get my team of four their full riding skills and mounts (ie all of the riding skill including cold-weather when they hit 77). I've got just over 12,000 in the bank, and figure I will get most of the rest just from questing with the group and doing dailies with my level 80 hunter.
