BRD.. got owned yet again!?

Hey all,

Sooo.. was doing BRD yet again.. and yet again got my arse handed to me nicely. Intially I thought my pally tank was too low (54).. I've leveled him since then and he's 57 now but I'm still getting killed on groups with Fireguards.. I put up my fire aura but they seem to do a lot of dmg in a short period of time :( At what level did you guys do BRD? My group is 57 pally, 52x3 locks, 57 druid (heals). I'm using healing touch as well as hots are not enough..

Yep, banish or kill the fire elementals first. If you can make it to the Lyceum, the mobs spawn infinitely, but give little xp. I got around 15-20xp each. But if you have aoe, you can sit there all day and level.

I think the mobs in BRD hit harder than before the 2.3 patch for all that they are lower...

I used to run through there about once a week with my 70, last night I wiped three times without getting to a boss.

Which was annoying. OTOH the Runecloth drop rate has been much increased. :)

I did BRD @ 52 and got owned horribly, 57 and had no problems. Pally/Mage/Mage/Mage/Priest team. I was 4boxing team doublemint and a buddy along who had a 57 mage with us...

The fire elementals were a bitch, if we focus fired them we could down them easily enough, on the packs later with 2 fire elementals it was a bitch and we discovered that Arcane Explosion spam with prayer of healing spam and a well timed invuln from the pally would normally kill the packs without much trouble... I'd say at 58/59 that would have been a LOT easier.

I'm gonna level up my locks.. I think their 52 is a bit low.. gonna give a go at 55 again..
