So this weekend I was screwing around and figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to take one of my guys into a PUG naxx I saw advertised. Once they invited me I saw they had like 8 of the 25 we needed so I mentioned I could bring another shaman and they pulled him in. By the time we hit the first boss and wiped because people didn't stay out of the locust swarm we discovered one of the warlocks was a complete deadbeat who didn't have cold weather flying yet and was going to need summoned every wipe so they dropped him, and up steps # 3 shaman.

So I'm in 3 different groups and as we clear spider wing and bosses I'm dropping poison cleanse and dpsing my ass off, my gears still a bit low on +hit for raiding but I held my own on DPS the whole way. We did Spider, Plague and called it quits due to time on the 4 horsemen, but all of those were very easy to achieve. I even managed the safety dance with only losing 1 shaman once. (Ank and recovered after the other 2 were safely back on stage.)

I'm not sure Grobbulous would have been any fun, and I am pretty sure I couldn't easily do thaddius without a lot of special setup, but everything else there seems pretty doable.

If you ever do abom wing, here's some tips on grob and thad:

Grob: Just make a key to cleans disease on target=player for all shamans, make sure you get dbm as well. The shammy that gets injected, run out, just far enough away, cleanse, run back. On 25 it's really easy, 10 man it's very doable too but a bit harder.

Thad 10: Just have the whole raid spread out 10 yards, no one swapping buffs, it's easy to kill him before enrage without bothering on 10 man with the buffs.

Thadd 25: ideally you need to swap charges effectively. There's a way fo doing so with individual strafe buttons for each char. But if your group has enough dps you can just place two shaman out of range on dps mode and do charges with only one.

Thats what I was thinking on Thaddius, bound keys and hack a UI mod to tell me nearly full screen pos/neg.

The only thing I'd worry on Grobby is near the end of the fight when they speed up so bad.... if two get it at once I'm sorta screwed.

Well, for me since the shammy buff that's not been a problem. Before I used to get in nasty situations when the timer went 5+ minutes on Grob (at 6-7 minutes hell literally breaks loose), under 5 minutes it's never really an easy even if I get 3.4.5 injections in a row. Just have to keep dps up high and bloodlust at the start. (It's what I do anyhow, anything to make the fight last as short as possible. :P)

My guild doesn't have amazing total dps (altho fairly decent still) and we can down him in under 3 minutes now. 5 minutes should be very doable. :)

I've done thaddius 25 with the strafe method and it does work, altho I needed 2 attempts to get the hang of it. It makes it easy if you can jump on the platform quickly, I am kinda used to have a seperate jump button for my main and alts, and have jumped ledges all over while running so had some practice there, but I can jump on the platform all at the same time without a prob. This helps with setting up the shamans before thaddius goes mad, all facing the back wall, make sure strafe doesn't go too far off, whilest being just in front of where the boss is tanked so you'll always be able to dps.
But seriously tho, on 10 man, don't bother. Just spread out and nuke. (Unless you want to use 10 man this method as practice that is. :P)

I have had great success boxing 3-5 shamans in Naxx 25 on every fight legitimately (except Thaddius where I leave a few up on the platform and dance 1-2). Done Heigan numerous times now without losing a single shaman the whole fight, which is awe-inspiring to new acquaintences/ puggies (Secret: perfect alignment before dance phase and broadcast strafe keys, actually very easy when you get the hang of it). Like said before, Grobb isnt too bad providing you dont represent more than 20% or so of the raid (easy on 25man, Doable but a pain on 10man).

I have had a great time perfecting my execution on these fights and CAN'T WAIT for Ulduar for a whole new set of PITA fights :)
