I have been reading around and have noticed that several people are experiencing disconnects with keyclone when connectiong two or more computers over a LAN. This is how I intend to set up my 5 accounts ( 3 on one system, and 2 on another). I would like to know if this is a known issue or is this something that can be worked out if issues arise. Thank you in advance!

That is the setup I run (Main and 2 slaves on 1 pc, and 2 slaves on 2nd pc).
I have been running that now for about 5 months using keyclone for the broadcasting, and have not once had any issues with Keyclone.

Have to say that Keyclone is a pretty solid product.

disconnects are not very common. there was a bug back in may, but that was dealt with.

one thing to do is to make sure you are using a wired lan and not wireless. wireless can have disconnect issues along with higher latency.

if you have any other questions, please let me know.

Ah, sorry to report that I still get KeyClone disconnects although very much less frequently than when it started happening early 2008.

Back then it was 2/3/4 times a session.
Now it might be only once or twice a week.

This is 2 PCs, wired into the same 10/100 switch.

the only time i get a disconnect from keyclone is when vista decides to drop my IP address. (happens about 2 times per month at irregluar times.) to cure it i just disable and re-enable my network adaptor. I think its an issue with the way Vista handles DHCP leases, I really should just put the machine on a static address and see if it cures the problem.

Thank you all for the good advice. I purchased 2 keys and my 1 pally and 4 shaman group are fastly approaching lvl 40! I don't think I could ever bring myself to go back to single-boxing.

On a side note- does anyone else notice the reactions from other people everywhere you go? Maybe it's just that my server (Burning Legion) isn't used to seeing multiboxers, but just about every single person who comes across my team has to stop and ask me what in the world is going on. I must say, the community on my server has been very receptive of my team and most people stand there in awe or follow me around. Thank you all again for the help and support.
