I have been going through these forums and the keyclone site. Everything, i am extremely technically inclined and i don't see how to make maximizer and keyclone work correctly.

every time the second maximizer window opens the other one minimizes. i can't seem to get keyclone to use its maximizer capability.

Frustrating to say the least. And if your going to go into this forum and tell me to check previous posts dont bother i have read them all.

first.. make sure your wows are running in windowed mode.

then check this link:
http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums2/viewtopic.php?t=1560&highlight=keyclone+maximizer

you will need to create at least one command. only programs launched via commands will get 'maximized'. personally, i create 1 command per account running on the local box. that way i can have the usernames defined for me.

hope that helps.

I am way further down the road then that

c:\wow2\maximizer.exe --margin 0,600,0,0
c:\wow1\maximizer.exe --margin 600,0,0,0

is what i am using.

those commands effectively split my screen. Keyclones maximizer functionality is meaningless in this. i could have used any number of programs for key duplication. i purchased keyclone because it used maximizer. although there is no clear discription on how it uses it.

problem is right now when wow2 loads it loads split correctly.

soon as wow1 loads it resets wow2 to minimized mode.

then contact tech support for maximizer, they should be able to answer the question

Sounds like we've got a similar configuration and intention (split screen into two layers, one on top the other on the bottom). I got mine working using maximizer without configuring keyclone to do anything.

The only thing I did differently than you (or maybe you did this already, it's unclear from your post) is that I modified the config.wtf in each of my C:\wow<num>\wtf directories to force the new resolution.

If you've done this already, could you post the config.wtf from each account (sanitizing it for proprietary info of course)?

I think you might be confused (and if not, I'm confused). Keyclone doesn't "use" maximizer (the other program). Keyclone has it's -own- maximizer.

The link keyclone (the user) gave you is a pretty straightforward tutorial on how to get keyclone's maximizer up and running.

There isn't any. It is open source but no longer being developed.

i resolved the problem of having maximizer unmaximize and not work correctly, by keeping the triwow.bat that you made and use to launch WoW with, (yours might be named different)

Keep it the top window after each other instance of the game is opened.

Im not sure if this makes sense to you, but for some reason having this .bat file as the current open file, makes mine work correctly

So your rant at the uselessness of these boards was completely unwarrented and all the people that provide such good and meaningful information can be expecting an apology?

You're the one who spent 7 or 8 hours reading forums to find a solution to a non-existant software problem despite being "extremely technically inclined" and you call me an idiot?

Hilarious.
