Heroic Pinnacle and Azjol Nerub done with 4 DK's! woot!~

I was very hesitant on being able to do any heroics with barely any gear and wearing greens on my 4 DK's. So I got a few items from the AH, did a few normal 80 instances for rep and tried out some heroics today.
4 DK's and a healer~! Vyndree from here helped heal me :P
Went extremely smooth!! Did both Pinnacle and Azjol Nerub absolutely no problems, and completely doable. Never thought it would be possible but I suppose anything is if you try.

I'm really happy to hear that UP is doable. I need to farm that place as the only mount I want is the Blue Proto drake that drops off of Skadi.

On a side note, someone asked me if I was you this morning when I was in Ironforge on my baby DKs. While they were sad I wasn't, they thought it was really cool that I knew you.

aww :) I'll start making some videos of it, I have tons of footage btw of Arenas / PvE content on my shamans, I'm just waiting for someone to finish up a Dual-boxing / Aelli intro for my movies!! :)

The loot was alright :P I got that red sword of courage but I hear 2h is the way to go, and I don't have the points to spend to make my char dual-wield spec.

If all you need is an intro, tell me what you want. As for DKs, I can help you spec for tanking or dps. I was 540 def with a two-hander before it as easy mode. I'm going to have to grind up to 450 blacksmithing anyway, might as well make some stuff for you as well.

what was your experience with melee group? I've got two teams in 70s (DKs and pallies) that I thinking of leveling up.

How was UP for the DKs? I am tempted to try this, but it is seriously the hardest instance for my shaman/pal group that I dread even trying it. Specifically Skadi, I hate that bastard.

edit: actually how did you avoid gibbing your DKs on his Whirlwind? Seems like it wouldn't work to well with all melee group.

I actually had 0 wipes in Pinnacle, and my gear is straight bad :P

for Skadi it is pretty simple, when he whirlwinds I run my main 1 way and backpedal on my alts. Dark command on the main so I taunted him towards me, deathgrip on an alt after a few seconds, then death grip on the main after a few more. Throw in a 4x Rune Tap somewhere in there for 60% heal on everyone in the group. Basically just playing ping pong with him.

But seriously, I can't believe how easy Heroics are, I imagined them to be so much harder playing Dk.

Yes, props to Ellay, but certainly having a dedicated healer would make a huge difference, I think. I understand Ellay only _runs_ 4 toons, of course.

For AN, I wiped a bunch of times with my DK + 4 elemental shammies on Anub'Arak, the rest of the instance was simple but coordinating movement and heals on the last boss is pretty hectic. I was able to do it but ran OOM during the last submerge and had nothing to nuke him down with at the end. I think even respecing one of my shammies to resto and dedicating them to healing would make this a lot easier, but I wasn't willing to do that.

Been running H AN every day with a PUG and my tank trying to get the stupid belt, hasn't dropped yet.

Thanks all :P I did Heroic Strat today, because it was the daily - muchoooo fun ! :) I thought I was actually going to finish the timed event, but then I got blown up on 9/10. Was my fault :P the 0 downtime that DK's have is what makes them shine currently.
